nous2 : people can be so wierd and stupidly judgemental. I have one on the thumb half of my right hand, I’ve gotten some funny looks but never rude comments, I’ve been asked about it before in a way that seemed like maybe they were gearing up to be rude, but they shut up pretty fast when I tell them it’s a memorial for my father. Question, do you ever color it in when your bored? I would.

nykkee : you just had me laughing! No, I’ve never thought of it, but now I’m gonna have to 😀 My female students (high schoolers) often draw flowery/henna style drawings on their hands in my class (heeheehee) Maybe I could be part of their art project!!! lololol
I love yours, pretty colors and the meaning behind it. It’s beautiful and there is nothing like getting one in honor of someone you love. I have one for my mother and my step-father (both alive) and one for my father (who also passed – by the way, I wanted to say I’m sorry about your loss.) I have another planned but not yet scheduled.
I’ll leave you with this experience. One day I was taking photographs of a hot hair balloon launch, as they passed over a walkway. They were feet away. At one point, my hand was down my side, I was just head up to the sky, watching and listening, when all of a sudden a little finger starting tracing the lines on my hand. This beautiful 4 year old girl, looked at me, smiled and said “I like your tattoo, mine washed off in the tub.” I almost melted from all the innocence and cuteness <3

Novella11 : gorgeous !! I’m a sucker for symmetry so I adore the band on either side. Your center stone is gorgeous too , do you know it’s size? I’m looking to upgrade my center stone as I feel it gets lost in my bands. I’m looking in the 1.4-1.5 size.
