ahartig:  It’s called Wayfarer’s Chapel in Palos Verdes, CA.

It’s a popular chapel here in our area. It only fits 100 people though but luckily our guest list is ony 125 and not everyone will be showing up. LOL

I’m so excited for ours. We are getting married in Upstate NY at a hotel, but it is a hotel with character IMO. The ceremony will be outdoors in the gardens behind the hotel under a tent, and the reception will be in the ballrooms with a bit of historic flair. I love it.

Reception Area:

The Century House Sweetheart Table stage

And the bar area where our after party will be (only picture I could find):

I loved our Hall……. it’s called Palladio in Glendale California. The set up was beautiful and the chandeliers were amazing!!!! It’s max capacity is 500 and we almost hit it!! I loved it. I wish I could do it all again….

Our venue is the Drake Hotel in Chicago. We’re having the ceremony and reception in the Gold Coast ballroom.

While they turn the room between the ceremony and reception, we’ll have a cocktail hour here:

The space is set up for high tea, which is what it’s generally used for, but of course they will move the tea tables and chairs and put in tallboy tables for cocktails.

If I’m very lucky and no one else has booked it for the day of our wedding, I’ll get to stay in this suite at the hotel. It’s where Princess Diana stayed when she visited Chicago sometime in the ’80s, so it is named after her. Is it wrong that this is the part I’m the most excited about? 😛
