5’9 future bride here with a groom that is 5’7. Most of the time we are fine with the height difference and he doesn’t mind when I wear heels (even when sometimes I’m like 6 ft tall), but I think I want us to be as even as possible heightwise come wedding day.
Could you all share your wedding flats and where you bought them? Links would be awesome!

@purple_orchid: I am the opposite of you! I am very short, but I have never been comfortable in heels. I wore two pairs of shoes on our wedding day. One were a small heel and the others were these beauties:
THey are the Ipanema shoes. They are really comfortable. the ones I wore had a platform but they also have pretty flats. I would suggest these as a second pair of ‘comfortable’ of shoes and get some pretty gorgeous shoes for your first shoes.
Good luck 🙂

My Darling Husband is 5’5″ and I’m 5’6.5″ so I wanted flats too. I got these at Payless.

Here are mine – the brand is Romantic Soles. Eggplant was one of our wedding colors. It took me a few months of looking to find these.

@nativedesires: OMG! These are beautiful! I’m Menominee Indian and looking for ways that I will incorporate my culture into our wedding!

I got them at Nordstrom, but they no longer carry them in this color.

I got mine on Shoebuy for $30 (shipping included). They come in about five colors, but the blue was just too fun not to pick.

I have fancy shoes for the wedding ceremony, but for the reception I picked up these bad boys on sale at Payless on Black Friday.

I just got mine in the mail today (from Amazon)- Not Rated Borderline oxfords in mint green. Even more adorable in person, and they cost ~$25 🙂

@tentwelvethirteen: I love these shoes! I bought these shoes at payless too in case my feet are killing me later in the reception! They’re super cute and sparkly, but normal enough to wear again with jeans.
