I missed the week one weigh in. But I was 142 last week and I’m 141 now. I intensified my exercise routine. I joined a gym about a month ago but the scale didn’t budge until this week. Also ran 3 miles  outside on Saturday. I was suprised at this because I was never a runner and have only done a 5K a year ago. I guess the treadmill is actually working. I signed up to run the same 5K in October.

nutmeg5512:  Sure do! Last week was 196.6, this week was 195.6. Down 1 pound which is great considering i had 2 days of cheating! I didnt skip a workout though, i exercised 6 days last week for 30 intense minutes.

I’m at 178.8, I believe that’s a .2 gain for me and I’m ok with that. My main goal is to find some balance in my life to take care of me. I work night shift but if I’m scheduled off for that night I try to go to bed when everyone else does and wake up in the morning with everyone. I have decided that what will work best for me is to start counting dinner first, then lunch, followed by breakfast. 

My fiance was out of town this past week, which left me running the kids to and from everywhere they needed to be and with all the household chores. My fiance will help cook meals 2-3 times a week and with him not being here left me preparing fast and not the most nutritious meals. We also went out to dinner the night before he left. This was not a typical week for us and I did learn to plan for the unexpected. I did well the past three days and expect to see a loss come next week. This week I’m going to focus on a schedule to fit exercise into my life.

Today: 253.8

Difference = 5.6lbs down! 

My goal was to be 250 by my 10k race this Sunday…we shall see if I make it.

Good work to all the ladies here!! I started at 135 last week and the scale is at about 133/134 — I don’t have a digital scale so I would say I think I lost 1 lb! I am super happy. I have been on a 1200 calorie diet, low carb, and have been eating breakfast every day to kick start my metabolism in the AM. Also tracking using MyFitnessPal, which I think has helped. I also cut out beer which has been hard but I think it makes a huge difference. I wanted to work out but have been dealing with chronic neck pain for the last week 🙁 but I am happy that the diet modifications seem to be making a difference.

Can I join in? Not trying to lose a set amount of weight – but I am eating keto/primal and getting healthier!  Is there a set date we need to calculate from?

Start: 206.8lbs (Sept 7th – day I began keto)

End of Week 1: 199.6lbs (Sept 14th)

Total: -6.9lbs

I am traveling and will not be able to weigh in until tomorrow.

Things that went well: lots of exercise.  I’ve really hit a groove and it’s to the point where I probably need to scale back for a couple of days.  but i feel so energized by it, so I keep going.

Things that didn’t go as well: I’ve been traveling in France for work this week. I have been trying very hard to watch what I eat, but every meal has been three courses and VERY heavy. And I decided to enjoy the nice wines I’ve been offered. For the food, I’ve been doing my best to guess calories and stay within my targets, but it’s been an imprecise process for sure. Not sure how that will translate to tomorrow’s weigh-in.

On a happier note, I’ve been pretty tied to the scale these past months, and a few days away has given me a chance to think more about how I feel and how my clothes fit.  and i’m feeling pretty good about that.  One month til the wedding!!

I lost about a pound. I weighed myself at the gym last night, and the first time it said 137.8, and the next was 137. I was 138.8 last week – so progress!!

My wedding is a month from yesterday, and all I really want to lose is 5lbs. But, it’s the same 5 lbs. I’ve been trying to lose for the last year!
