I’m a total postage dummy. My invitations weigh 1.1 oz and they’re square so I need $0.86 worth of postage on each. How do I do this?? 2 forever stamps? Can I get 1 stamp that is specially made for $0.86? Will that end up costing more? Help!!

i’d suggest you talk to the post office clerks. i just recently went and purchased mine (i only needed 1 stamp per envelope but they were so knowledgable and helpful!

@RunnerBride13: I’m a Cdn bride so it’s a bit different here, but the last invite I received from an American bride had a collection of different stamps totalling the amount required. So I think it had one 70-something cent stamp, and three 5-cent stamps or something like that. It was kind of neat with the “collage” of stamps.

@RunnerBride13: I work in a convenience store with a post office, so I can help! Depending on the dimensions of the envelope, you may be able to do $0.66 worth of stamps. Otherwise, there are definitely $0.20 stamps for purchase, as well as possibly some $0.40. They usually have special wedding stamps too, so I’m not sure if those are worth more. Go to USPS.com to look for them! You can order as much as you need and have them shipped right to your house 🙂

@RunnerBride13: i would go to your local post office to confirm the stamps that you need. they may also have other options for you.

I ordered $0.66 stamps from the post office, and they turned out to have come from Zazzle! I highly recommend looking through there. In fact, I just randomly clicked on one store, and you can choose from several rates and not have to use multiple stamps if you don’t want to. Good luck!
