I can’t get a clear answer on a google search. Some sites say yes while others say no and I think two say maybe. I can’t help but feeling maybe it’s a scare tactic, but I want to run out and get 500 stamps for my STD, invites, return RSVP, parties, ect.
Am I crazy!?

@Miss Tattoo: Here’s a thread that should help you.
There isn’t one for January, but might increase in May.

I am not sure if the increase in price is definite yet. I know that this summer (around July) the USPS was considering a .02 increase from .44 to .46.

Whew. I think I’m still going to stock up on the Forever stamps now. I won’t be sending anything out until 2012, but at least it will be locked in at 44 cents.

You can always buy the forever steps now and if the price does go up at least you have them already.

the one big bummer about the forever stamps is that they tend to be pretty generic/boring looking. also your main invites will most likely need more postage than that, wedding invites never seem to only need 44 cents, and i don’t know how it would work with adding postage to a forever stamp. is a forever stamp considered to be worth whatever a 1 ounce piece of mail costs at that time? the forever ones will probably work for your Save-The-Date Cards, thank you cards, and RSVPs though. you could always buy a couple hundred of them. 500 might be overkill…

Yeah, I really don’t care about how they look on the invites because I never notice stamps when I get mail so I don’t want to pay anything extra for details only I will notice and that go in the trash.
