you should if you really want them back, people are lazy and you almost have to hand walk the through even returning the darn thing.

we put postage and addressed them and did everything but check yes or no (although there were a few i almost “forgot” their rsvps in hope they wont come lol. we even wrote their names and how many seats we had reserved. we have such a small venue and big family so we tried to keep extra guests to a minimum

the only time you don’t is if you’re sending them internationally – there’s no way you can put their countries international postage on the rsvp. 🙂

@cyndistar3:  maybe you can do both?  then for the people you know can handle the online RSVP, you can save on their postage?

i just got tired from hearing everyone complain about not knowing who rsvp d cus they didnt write their name so i just did something about it and filled everything out. it was just easier in the long run and cheaper than neat spy tools. (although i still want one for arguments sake)

Yes, it’s an unfortunate but necessary expense.

From what I understand, putting postage on the RSVPs is the etiquette-neutral thing to do. We did it – even for international postage! We got secret helpers in a few foreign countries to mail us the right postage. It wasn’t much extra work and I think it was a nice touch.
