(Closed) Postage went up and I have a crisis !!!

Were they not forever stamps? I thought they stopped selling postage specific stamps except in small increments. Even if you paid 44 cents for them, if they say forever and not 44, they are still valid now.

I think you would be ok posting it to FB.  This is an unusual situation and just a minor mistake.  I think everyone should be understanding about putting a cent or two in to get them back to you.  Sorry that happened ๐Ÿ™

Perhaps it might be easier to talk to your postmaster. IF you know a large number of them should be coming in, ask if they can be held at the post office, and you can pay on delivery. That might be the easiest way, that way you can pay as you pick them up.

Did you get your RSVP weighed for postage? They might not even take 44 cents to mail ๐Ÿ™‚ But in the case they do I think the post office will let the penny slide. It would cost more for them to return them and everything.
