What a lovely unique ring – and represents a powerful ‘milestone’ in your life. Glad you found the strength to move on, Bee!

I used to have a white gold band with round channel set diamonds. I got it for my birthday back in 2013, and it didn’t arrive at the jeweler until a month afterward, shortly after I left my ex husband due to similar circumstances. At the time I had completely forgotten about the ring, so it was kind of a surprise when I got a phone call from the jeweler saying it arrived. I wore it on my right hand and called it my “I Love Me” ring. It still in my jewelry dish somewhere but I don’t wear it anymore. I feel like I moved on from it in a way.

janelka25 :  That is really pretty!! I bought one, too, but I don’t have it on. Definitely a “new start” kinda ring!

Love your beautiful ring!

This is my post-divorce ring that I bought myself as a reminder of my own strength.

I’ve moved on from the divorce and am happily engaged now, but I still wear this ring every day on my right hand to remind myself that I’m a bad ass.

janelka25 :  big hugs to you, Bee – it’s so tough to have a kid with medical conditions, especially when the other parent isn’t helpful or supportive.

A post divorce ring is a lovely thing. Your story could be my story. I sold my original rings and used the proceeds to buy some moissanite bands, which remind that light shines into sadness.

I am happily, very happily, re-partnered and feel vey lucky. Stay strong and enjoy your beautiful ring. x

janelka25 :  Your ring is lovely! I wanted to comment on “due to daily stress during second pregnancy my little baby boy was born with very rare Denys-Drash syndrome” —

your precious baby’s health issues are not your fault. They are a freak genetic accident and were out of your control. Don’t do that to yourself momma!
