@aithinne I have started many repsonses just to delete them. Most of the time I’m afraid someone is going to find a way to turn it into a negative and start bashing or scrutinizing. I don’t like being called out for giving a suggestion or my opinion (when asked) even when I do it nicely. I wish posters would adhere to the Thumper rule – if you can’t say something nice, then don’t say anything at all.

I’m quite the thread killer. I like to think I have the last word.
I rarely get more than 5 responses to a thread I start.
If a thread has more than 2 pages of responses, I usually don’t respond. Especially if a similar comment was posted several times.
And sometimes, if I think a responses will be too involved, I can’t even start.

I’m like that lol. Even with texting I will write something and then never press send. Same goes on this site…I type up a response and just delete it before I post haha.

I feel the same way. In my head, I’m chock full of knowledge and helpful tips, but when I try to type it out it looks more like “blarggg lksjdfljsdlkfklsd” ;P
I always feel like whatever I want to say will be overlooked.. or there will be so many more helpful responses and mine will sound silly.

All. The. Time.
I’m always so shocked when someone mentions me in their own comment. I always figure no one will ever read my comments.

Yes, totally! I often type out long responses and then just cancel it. I sometimes feel like I am not the most eloquent writer, or that I’m just repeating what others have said.
And I too, like

I do this all the time. Seriously. I’ll type up a reply and edit and edit and edit before submitting because I don’t want to offend anyone, or whatever other reason, then I’ll just change my mind and not submit at all.
In my earlier posts and replies here on WB, I feel like I rubbed a lot of people the wrong way because the anonymous format of this forum stifled my common sense and tact and made me feel like I could say anything I want with no serious consequences. I’ve since learned my lesson, and that’s the only reason why my post count isn’t in the thousands by now.
