yeah… I just switched from the “other” place. I was always told my grammar was bad,  spelling errors, ect, but they never really contributed to my question or was very helpful. I understand. So far just the week I have been on, it has seemed alot more real and less stuffy. Welcome, and as long as you are real, and are civil to others the bees seem to be very welcoming.

Yeah, gotta love “exclusivity” on an internet messageboard… *eyeroll*

I’ve never really posted on the knot – I read there occasionally, but WB is much more awesome, welcoming, informative, all of the above.  ๐Ÿ™‚

Also, if a thread has Too Much Information in the title, you can bet I am going to read it!  I love “girl talk” stuff like that as my Fiance would say.  It’s nice to be respectful, and understand there are members of this community who aren’t a fan of that kind of conversation, but there are just as many who are.

Welcome!  ๐Ÿ™‚

Welcome to the hive! You will love it here! Just don’t attack anyone and don’t be snarky. ^_^

I know I’ve had issues on other sites with members using the boards as a form of twitter, almost… constantly creating new threads to let the rest of us know what they were thinking or doing now as opposed to 5 minutes ago.  That got pretty old, so as long as you’re not telling us about your each and every move or thought, I’m sure you’re fine ๐Ÿ™‚

This has been a really informative thread, thanks for asking!  I completely agree with what’s been said.  I try to stay away from ANYTHING negative, and I try to avoid sarcasm, since sometimes it doesn’t come across as intended in writing.

Welcome!! We are glad to have you here. And don’t you worry, I love these boards, and if they can accept me with no questions asked (I’m a pretty silly lady) then I’m sure you’ll be just fine!! Hope you have a wonderful time posting and congrats on the wedding planning.

I’m sure you’ll be fine here. People will tell you if you say something that’s wrong or offensive. Or you will get a warning. I don’t think you will get warned for posting too much though, that’s kind of weird. I haven’t been on any other forums for weddings so I can’t compare it to anything else. Because I have a short attention span, I usually skip over the posts that are really long. My preference. But others LOVE it ๐Ÿ™‚
