My husband was amazing for the entire wedding planning process.  He even worked overtime just so I could order the flowers I wanted (I DIY’d practically everything).  Since we met online playing WoW, I decided to make him a themed gift.  It wasn’t terribly costly, but it did take a bit of time.

I got him a flask, some socks, I made him a set of cufflinks, an emergency kit (thread, safety pins, bandages, shout wipes, etc), and a boudoir album.  He loved his gift, in fact he ended up blubbering to one of my dearest friends (who was walking me down the aisle) about how great it was as they were getting ready lol.

@LadyWindheart:  For my Fiance I am doing a boudoir shoot but on the day of I am giving him his grandfathers watch i am having restored and brought back to working order. He already has a nice watch but its the thought of it being his grandfathers that I think he will like since he just recently lost him.

@LadyWindheart: My photographer had the same theme for her wedding!  Her husband is from the UK, and they are HUGE fans.

I loved doing the boudoir shoot, but I was really comfortable with my photographer.  Honestly, I never considered doing one (I’m kinda doughy lol), but the pictures came out beautifully.  I had already met my photographer and did an E-session with her when I decided to do it.  Having a married, female photographer who had done a boudoir shoot for her husband herself made it very easy to feel comfortable.  I also was never naked for any part of it, my shoot was very PG-13; but I think some of the more risque pictures that other bees do are very nice, I just don’t have the body for it (no abs).  Here’s one of the pages from the album I made

@LadyWindheart:  Fiance has been really supportive. He doesn’t have many opinions about things but he is happy to talk about the wedding and bounce ideas around together, and there are certain things he is excited about!!! I feel very lucky too!

Excited to see what present ideas people have! I haven’t the slightest idea what to get for him…

My fiance and I are very sentimental. We do scrapbooks, letters, notes, etc.

Unfortunately I didn’t think of this idea until months after getting engaged, but starting one year to the date until our wedding I began writing him letters. One letter a month, every month the year before the wedding. Some are long, some are short and sweet. I’m reminding him of what we’ve been doing in the planning process, what’s going on in our lives, and most importantly how I feel about him. I plan to put them in an album of some sort for the wedding day.

I’m also going to frame different dates that have meaning to us such as when we had our first date, when we got engaged, and our wedding date.
