I just noticed something very strange when I wrote something to the Relationships board. When I clicked the Submit button, a little window came up saying that my post had to be examined by a moderator before being posted to ensure it was not spam. What? That has never happened to me before. What is going on here? Is it a new policy that I have not heard about for some reason? Or maybe there was something in there that triggered that?

And since this worked just now without that happening, I figure there must have been soemthing wrong with my post. How strange. Perhaps the title was too long. . .?

It’s happened to me before…I don’t know what prompts it, maybe a curse word, who knows? But they usually appear shortly after.

Did you post a link or anything? I know it happened to me a couple of times right after I joined for that reason although I assumed it was mostly bc I was new and they were trying to make sure I wasn’t a spambot.

It’s happened to me a couple times too, like if I write long responses to posts…..

Mods commented a while ago about the spam filters being a bit sensitive. I think it may still be related to that. Never fear, your post will appear!

Everytime I post the word “ch1cken” (spelled correctly, I used a “1” so it wouldn’t get moderated 🙂 ), I get moderated. It’s weird. I’m guessing they’re thinking I’m using it in a taunting way, but I really just mean the birds!

I had that happen to me once, and it took a number of hours before my comment posted. I wondered what prompted that also.

It happened to me a few weeks ago (I used the word he11, as in “what the he11?”) and it said my post needed to be reviewed before being fully submitted. It never ended up appearing so I just assume it’s floating around in WB cyberspace somewhere. Hope your post reappears sooner rather than later!

Sometimes the post filters go wonky and the Mods have to go though and release them. Has been happening a lot lately, even mine got caught up in it. No worries, it is just a programming fluke.

It’s happened to me before, I believe that as @Fleur.De.Lis: said, the filters have been a bit sensitive lately. But whenever it happens to me it posts very shortly after.
