Here is the other one. The sweetheart is pretty and softens up your shoulders from the regular neckline. I love the idea of your vel. You will look beautiful whatever you decide.

100% without a question, I love the vera the most!!! Even if you don’t get it altered o have a sweetheart neckline, it is just stunning! I tried on a lot of different types of dresses, trying for more simple, modern style just because I was afraid that the ballroom look was too much. However, I never got that goosebump “I’m gonna walk down the aisle to be with the love of my life” feeling in anything but those ballroom gowns. And yes you are tiny but it doesn’t swallow you up!!! Your waist and frame still look amazing, and who cares if it doesn’t hug you to your knees! Everybody that knows you at the wedding will know you have a cute petite frame!! If losing the other deposits is not an issue, then I say go with the dress you FEEL most beautiful and bridal in! THE VERA!!!!

Hey Meliss, I’ve commented on the first two dresses already and now that I see the Vera I think it’s safe to say you have 3 really good options. You can’t go wrong with Vera and you won’t regret it. And I am in the same boat as you where I am incredably tiny with a womanly figure so the sample dresses look TOTALLY different once they are altered down to our size. I am really nervous about my dress and have nightmares about it almost every night since it STILL hasn’t come in. I’ve made a decision though to just live with it no matter what since I feel like there are some good aspects to it at least and the photographer will make me look good with journalistic style pictures instead of the unflattering shots from a sitting position everyone else likes to take.

At the end of the day, your dress isn’t really that important, as long as there are some things you like about it I say go for it. My honest favorite is the Vera, I think it’s what you are going for in a dress instead of what catches your eye first or hugs your curves best.

I’m also a bride who no longer loves her dress, so no need to be embarrassed about your saga.  My favorite is the Marisa, but you can’t go wrong with the Vera if that’s the one you really love.  I definitely prefer it over the Lazaro.

Do not wear the Lazaro…particularly if you are descriping it as something you want to take off! I love the Marissa dress, BUT it is your wedding! You will look beautiful in the one you fell most like a bride in!  I would put the sweet heart neckline on the Vera dress and go with it.

ok….maybe i’m an idiot, but 2 of your posts confused me so correct me if i’m wrong…

the lazaro is the mermaid beaded one?

and the marisa is the flowy one?

if so i do NOT think the lazaro is flattering (if its the heavily beaded mermaid one)

but the marisa is exquisite!! unbelievable.

I think the sweetheart helps the Vera…but the real question is what do YOU want…you can ask our opinions all day long, but its up to you sweetie! and the vera or marisa will be a GORGEOS pick for you =) do what makes you happy – what makes you feel like a bride! its YOUR day!!

As you can probably see from the plethora of different responses…you have to go with the dress you feel is right. We probably all, to some extent, are projecting what we like in a gown onto your choices.

I don’t like ballgowns. I like sexy gowns that hug curves in all the right places,  so I would kill for that lazaro because I think it looks amazing on you. Your body, as some other posters have mentioned, is far too sick in my opinion to be hidden under some ballgown. I’m actually sad for your hips that will end up being hidden 🙁

“Are you implying that there is something better than Vera Wang? Excuse me, do they keep that next to the something that is better than chocolate?

“Get the dress.”

It’s a quote. Name that movie! 🙂 (sorry, I couldn’t resist!)

If it were me, I would absolutely choose the Marisa. You look totally bodacious in it.

However, you totally need to wear the dress that makes you feel like a bride. Based on everything you’ve said, I think you should pick the Vera. It is also a beautiful dress, and if the ballgown is what gets you going and will give you that bridal “glow”, then go for it.

I still like Marisa the best, the second dress you picked. It think it looks very romantic and delicate on you. My second choice would be the Vera. It is very pretty too but I really like the second one more.

I love them all. Listen, not one person is going to look at you in your dress and think, wow she could have found a better dress! They are going to see you and say, wow she looks beautiful. So buy the dress you love. That being said the marisa is amazing, but the vera could be too with some alterations to fit you better. But seriously, you are letting other peoples opinions influence you way too much.  You don’t need us random ppl telling you what you love. You know what you love.

I have been following your dress dilema, I think the Marisa is lovely, but I love the Vera the most.  It will look really special once it is altered.

I love the Marisa, and don’t hate me, but I also love the Lazaro on you.  I really don’t like the Vera.  My first thought was “meh”.  It’s just…there.  It doesn’t really do anything for your figure.

I say Marisa!

I have to say something else!  The Vera is the ultimate classic, IMO, and you said that it matches the bride image you have in your head- so I say- go for it.  To me, it is much more classic than the Marisa, which is also lovely.  But I agree with you about the Vera- to me it is the perfect bridal image.  And, I think you love it.
