Kill. Me. Now.
Can I go home and lie on the couch? Pleaaaase?
Dear Aunt Flo,
I am truly grateful for your monthly visits to me. It’s a nice “reminder” to me that there will be no addition to our humble family just yet. But please can’t you just play nice when you come visit?

Lol, I SOOOOOO don’t miss having a monthly gift from mother nature. 4 times a year is freakin’ plenty. It’s evil…you could always dope yourself up like I did on vicodin. Can’t feel pain…in fact, can’t feel your brain =]
But, speaking of PHO, how’d it go last time you made it? =]

I know how ya feel. Mine are terrible, and I do sometimes have to leave work. Praying that I DON’T get it this month. Just started continuous BC and some people don’t get it. I hope I’m in that “some people” group.

Eek, poor thing. Take it easy if you can. The only thing that saves me from my very worst days is a heating pad on my abdomen.

I knew you ladies would understand!
Still haven’t made it the second time yet! We’ve been slowly accumulating good marrow bones. Hehe.
Speaking of food. When I was living at home years ago my mom would make me hot noodle soup then she would cook one egg (semi scrambled) then spritz it with red wine at the end. It ALWAYS helped with stomach cramps. Something about the hot soup and wine. Mommy!

Yea, getting liquored up helps me too. 🙂

Ugh…I’m so sorry, but I’m right there with you! Last week was awful for me, and thank goodness it’s over! Avoid that caffiene and take it easy!

I completely understand…I have a medical issue (adenomyosis) and I get the worst cramps and am just generally in a bad mood whenever I have mine. Vicodin helps, as does good tv (LOVE the Big Bang Theory) and a loving husband/fiance!

My last visit was horrible. My cramps were so bad I felt like I was going to vomit. My friend said you can get pain killers from your doc for the really bad days. I’m going to talk to mine about it next time I’m in. I wouldn’t take them every period, but there’s definitely times when my cramps are debilitating and it would sure be nice to have something then.

Lilybee, you can get Anaprox for your cramps. I used to take it for ages.

I totally feel ya! The terrible feelings start a WEEK before her big arrival and the big day of is like death for me. Sigh… haha!
