(Closed) Potted beach flowers/plants?

@Aquaria:  The only botanicals we see on beaches here are grasses. You could go to a local nursery and buy small plants which could be nestled in sand or pebbles.

@Aquaria:  I don’t think it would work to add the small plants to a water filled centerpiece.

You could add the grasses potted up in other small vases.

Home Depot can’t likely order plants in especially for you, if they wouldn’t normally be stock at that time of year, but any local garden center could.

depending on what beach location you’re going for succulents can be popluar as well… We’ve got tons of them on our beaches here in northern CA! Things like ice plants (which do bloom in pink & yellow- the leaves are green & orange), lupin grows on the beach here as well but is very seasonal & not a succulent, yellow sand verbena flowers but is small, beach strawberry looks pretty much like regular strawberries but I’ve never seen it fruit… If you live near the beach any local nusery should be able to help you pick out the perfect local plants. I’m sure our norcal beaches are very different than Jersey!
