@regberadaisy: You can go in and exchange it. They are really flexible there. If you’re friend ordered it on-line they can actually look up what she paid for it to make sure you get the same amount of credit.

I used to work at PB and the customer service is usually pretty awesome.   Yes, if she ordered online, they can do a lookup and get the price paid.  Otherwise you just get whatever the final sale price is on a gift card.  Just make sure to take the invoice slip from the box to make it easier.  You could always call customer svc ahead of time and ask what the amount is, so you know what kind of credit you’re getting too.

And I don’t think it’s bad to want to exchange!  If you won’t use it, you won’t.  I’m sure most friends just want to get something you’ll like and use.

@regberadaisy: oh my gosh what a sweet friend! That is SO thoughtful!

I don’t know what their return policy is (but from the two PP’s, sounds AWESOME!), but had to say you are blessed 🙂 that is so sweet of her.
