Feeling nervous and anxious is totally normal! It’s a big day that you have been putting lots of effort into, not to mention all the emotions that go along with it. My best advice is to just take it one day at a time. It’s easy to get overwhelmed when you think about everything that’s left to do. But make it more manageable by focusing on one thing before moving on to the next. And just trust that everything will work out! You’ll get to a certain point a few days before and realize that you’ve done all you can do and that it’ll be a perfect day no matter what. I don’t normally enjoy being the center of attention either, but having a day with all of your family and closest friends showering you with love and celebrating with you is a very amazing thing. Hang in there!

I’m 37 days away and so nervous already. My grandma flew in from Spain yesterday already and for some reason that made it so much more real.

I’m going to have to try out a few of the things mentioned on here too….. thanks for posting this OP ๐Ÿ˜€ and take a deep breath!!!!

TiaMP:  Of course you are nernous, you are taking a big step. Most the transitions in our lives are thrusted upon us–being born, starting school, moving from elementary to middle to high school, then graduating. The only other ‘decision’ transition you may have made at this point is going to college, but for most, that was less a decision as a pre-determined ‘of course you’ll go’.

If you look back, I’m sure you will remember feeling nervous and anxious at each of those transitions too.

But MARRIAGE is the biggest decision we will knowingly and consciously make. And there is so much fear around making a wrong decision and what kind of wife will I be.

Acknowledge that these are perfectly normal and deal with each as they come. Here is a web site that might help you…

I think almost every bride experiences this =) I didn’t think I would. But my wedding is next weekend and I am FREAKING OUT just thinking about it. It’s never as bad as we imagine it to be, though. Just remember- A wedding is just a wedding. It’s one day. Your new husband is there for life, to help you through moments like these. Everything will work out just fine =)

Only think I am nervous about is saying my vows and not messing them up. But I still have a month to go ๐Ÿ™‚
