I would like to ask all of you to pray for my brother and all the rest of the people of Tuscaloosa, AL and the rest of the areas who were affected by the tornado tonight. An EF4/EF5 went straight through Tuscaloosa today, completely destroying almost everything there.
Here are some videos of the tornado:
Also, some pictures of the devastation:
My brother, a student, and his friends are all ok. However, there have been over 25 confirmed deaths and over 100 injuries. My brother has many friends who are currently missing.
Please keep all these people in your prayers.
Thank you in advance for all your kind thoughts and prayers,

Wow I’ve never seen tornados in such great numbers… My heart is breaking for those people and for the families who lost loved ones. It says over 100 tornados touched down today… it’s just mind blowing. =(

@HappilyEverAfter54: It’s absolutely devastating. We’re from south Louisiana, so this is very reminiscent of Katrina, but on a smaller scale and without the flooding. My brother said they might not be able to finish the semester out.

@LaviniaRose2013: I can’t imagine. Weather just seems to be throwing punch after punch without a break to recover.

I went to undergrad at the Univ of Alabama – from the pictures I’ve seen my old house has been completely obliterated. It looks like some of my friends’ have lost their homes and most are out of power but alive thank God! I know some were not so lucky – it looks like a warzone where I used to run pickup dinner.

I’ll add your family and friends to my prayers. It’s so sad. We had something similar last year, and I know how devastating it can be. *hugs*

Thank you all so much ladies! I knew I could count on all of you to make me feel better and bring some light to this dark situation.
I just talked to my brother, and he said that there have been 90 confirmed deaths in Tuscaloosa alone. My brother’s friend and friend’s girlfriend were in a house in the hardest hit area. They found my brother’s friend over 100 yards away from his house with a concussion and broken bones. They have YET to find my brother’s friend’s girlfriend.
This is just devastating! I can’t imagine how it would feel to be a parent and not be able to get in touch with your child. I am SO thankful we have been able to be in contact with my brother, and my heart just goes out to all the people who are still looking for their loved ones, whether they were in Tuscaloosa or some other area ravaged by these vicious tornadoes.
