I don’t think that’s too early. I think that I am going to start mine maybe 20 – 30 minutes before the ceremony. We also will have a slideshow, so that will be playing too.

Edit: Should the music and slideshow play at the same time?

Our music will start at 5 and the ceremony starts at 5:30.

We are starting ours a 1/2hr before the ceremony. I think that is pretty standard.

I think 30 mins is standard as well.

Do most guests know to arrive earlier than ceremony start time? I’m concerned about people getting stuck in traffic!

30 mins sounds perfect but maybe have 45 mins worth of music in case things start a little late!

I’ve been planning on at least 30 minutes of pre-ceremony music, maybe a little more~
