G’day Bees! So- although our website is not 100% complete we wanted to *pre-launch* our business to get some feedback from my girls! -I know you busy ladies want to pull your hair out just as much as I did while making our website…right….?…-
My only rule! -Be lax! lol! I have never created a website in all my days of breathing!
We have a lot of out-of-town guests who have never been to where our wedding is taking place so we wanted to give them options and ideas to make a short getaway for the weekend…
Please let me know what you think bees!
Did you/have you built a wedding website? Did your guests love it/find it helpful?

I like it and think it includes a lot of info… maybe too much info? I would do without the list of vendors, because I would want my guests to be surprised and not know who I chose for everything. I also wouldn’t include the contact us. Since they are your family and friends, they probably know how to contact you already. The weather tab just shows the weather for today. You might want to give them an idea of what it will be like on your wedding day. And for your nightlife, entertainment, etc you’re just using Yelp to create a long list of places for people to visit. I would just pick a couple from each category and add why you personally like it. You could also consolidate all of these on one page so it isn’t overwhelming for your guests.

@Bichon Frise: I agree, all of the info could be a bit overwhelming. Is it possible to combine some of the relevant pages? I chose to do an FAQ page to encompass the “What to Bring,” “Weather” and other topics. Also, is it possible to combine “Entertainment,” “Restaurants,” “Nightlife,” and “Shopping” into a “Local Attractions” page? I think it would really clean things up nicely.
I really like the layout and design!
