That’s what I thought you meant, I had just never heard it referred that way! We are doing pre-canna (marriage prep) through our church, but we don’t actually have to meet with a counselor. What kind of church is it?

We did pre-marital counseling and it was great! In My Humble Opinion EVEYRONE who wants to get married should have to!

We didn’t have premarital counseling. I don’t think it’s for everyone and it was definitely not for us.

@knvprincess143:  That’s an even better set-up! It gives you the opportunity to build a relationship with a strong couple so when/if issues come up later after the I Do’s then you’ll have someone you can go to for counsel.

That’s SUCH a needed thing in a strong marriage b/c sometimes we just get into some stinkin thinkin and don’t see things right…. outside counsel that is like-minded in the basis/foundation of marriage is VITAL!
