I’ve decided I’d like to get a pre-owned dress from recycled bride (i guess it’s now tradesy?) It’s a David’s Bridal gown but it’s unhemmed/unaltered. Would I go back to David’s Bridal for that work or should I go somewhere else? I’m on a budget and would like to save money here but also I don’t want my dress ruined lol.
It’s the T9938. Also.. do you think that dress would look good with a birdcage veil?

I would not say you have to go back to DB for alterations. Honestly… go anywhere reputable that’s a better cost!
I’m veil illiterate… no advice there 🙂

@geekchick: cute dress 🙂 I definitely think you could pull off a birdcage veil with this dress.

Love the dress, simple and gorgeous. I would stay away from DB with alterations, they are so expensive! And you could totally rock a birdcage veil with that dress! Happy planning! =)

i realize this is an older thread but thought i’d drop a line.
i wore this dress for my wedding in 2011. i bought it used also!! i originally wanted a bird cage veil, but it didn’t end up working for me. didn’t go with my personality and style.
hope it all works out well for you!! congrats!
