The thing about cheaper/easier/quicker is that it won’t necessarily stand up in court down the line if you skimp now. It might be cheaper now, but it will be more expensive in the long run if it doesn’t protect the assets you want it to. I would both go see a lawyer ASAP. It might be still possible to get it done now and it won’t necessarily be that expensive if what you want is pretty standard. But if you really want to protect assets, it will be money well spent.
