Yup. Totally. It even got to the point where I was contemplating planning my pregnancy so the last half coincides with the summer months so I can wear my ridiculously large collection of maxi dresses.

Lmao i’ve caught myself saying this alot latley. I’ve actually bought things knowing I wanted to wear them pregnant, so I got it bigger πŸ™‚ I’m the worst. I have a shirt that makes me look fat now because it catches my belly weird, but i’m keeping it because i’m going to look so good when i’m supposed to have a belly in it hahahahaha

    ALL THE TIME!!

I’ve also stopped buying any new pants because I’m hoping to become pregnant soon and I don’t know if they’ll fit after I have a baby, so I don’t want to waste the money.

Also, I have some clothes that I don’t really wear anymore, but I won’t give them away because I could picture being pregnant and wanting to wear them (bulky sweatshirts…etc)

    Completely crazy, I know!!

@DCSquared:  Hopefully starting in the end of July with the goal to be pregnant in the August – October range. I told you I was crazy with wanting a warm weather baby! Of course we just want a healthy child – but on a totally superficial level, I think summer birthday parties are so much more fun AND I won’t have to wear pants immediately post-partum. Yeah, I know, I’m nuts.

OMG all the time! I thought I was weird but apparently not. I work with so many pregnant women so I see them and their maternity clothes a lot. And, I favor things that are loose around the waist since it isn’t exactly my best feature anyway, so often I’m like, I can totally wear this for at least 6 months. Like, other than new pants, I won’t even NEED maternity clothes until half way through. But then i feel a little bad about my current clothes and that maybe I should wear something a little more fitted πŸ™‚

Also, it really didn’t help when a pregnant coworker wore a non-maternity dress, which was given to her in a bad of mat clothes from a friend, that I also own. Now I feel like I can’t wear it until I’m pregnant. πŸ™

I did, yeah lol however for me personally didn’t gain a whole lot of weight when was pregnant so technically the clothes that had become to big for me (had lost weight first) would have been my maternity clothes…

Actually, I didn’t. I’m 24 weeks and still wearing quite a bit of non maternity clothes. Some things are beginning not to fit me anymore, but I was more on the hold out as long as I could before going maternity clothes on everything. I guess part of it is that I don’t like flowy, loose tops. They don’t look good on me. I like fitted clothing better, so my Gap v neck now just stretches around the belly.

I lost a ton of weight last year, and didn’t throw away a lot of my “fat” clothes, just in case there was a chance I could wear it when I became pregnant.  Some of it is really nice, and I’m hoping to get a bit more use out of them.
