(Closed) Pre wedding pictures

Do you mean you would take longer than, say, a cocktail hour?

I’m not a pro on traditions, but I think the cocktail hour is when you are supposed to be taking your pics, and your guests can hang out with each other and relax. That way you don’t have to have a first look.

@edavidson:  Yes, traditionally, bride and groom photos are taken just after the ceremony, during cocktail hour.  If you are opposed to the first look, other options are having your photographer take photos of you with your bridesmaids, and him with his groomsmen ahead of time, and each of you alone if you want those.  Otherwise, cocktail hour should be plenty of time to get some photos of you two done! 🙂
