sydneywilliams :  My af was like clockwork as well but I noticed when ttc It would be late occasionally for no reason. Maybe stress? Or you could have ovulated later then you thought? I would wait a few more days and test again. You can always get a blood test to know for sure. I know when I started ttc my body liked to play tricks on me. It was frustrating. Hope you get a bfp soon!!

Are you tracking ovulation (temping) or just using an app to predict your ovulation?  If you are just using an app, it’s possible that you ovulated late this cycle or are having an anovulatory cycle, but that would be impossible to know without tracking ovulation.

So you don’t use OPKs or anything? Those apps really aren’t that reliable unless you 100% ovulate on day 14, which many people do not.

Yeah I’d suggest temping or at least using ovulation predictor kits if you want to have a more accurate idea about when you ovulate. 99% likely what happened is you ovulated a few days later than usual this cycle – somethign that can happen to anyone for any reason, even people whose cycles are normally like clockwork – and that’s why AF is delayed. Your app is just guestimating your ovulation date based on when your last period came – it doesn’t actually know. Cervical mucus can give hints about when ovulation is coming, but it’s not too reliable either, as you can have several patches of fertile CM in the same cycle, or even no CM and still ovulate. Good luck bee – I hope you get your BFP soon!

I definitely recommend temping!  I was clockwork 28 day cycles and this past cycle was 46 days!  No bfp, just ovulated late, which I knew from temping.  It is completely normal for even us clockwork girls to have one or two annovulatory/late o cycles a year.  CM and OPKs can only tell you if you are gearing up to o, not if you did. This past abnormal cycle, I had 2 rounds of +opks as well as 2 patches of ewcm, as my body tried and failed to o during at my normal cd13-15, and tried again and suceeded, which I know from temping.  I am on cycle 7 of tcc, but only on cycle 4 of temping, and I 100% wish I started even before ttc.  I would wait a few more days before testing again, to consider late o

If you aren’t temping or using OPKs then it’s pretty impossible to accurately track ovulation. My money is on that you aren’t late but just ovulated later than usual for whatever reason.

I would go with what everyone is saying, i wasted couple months of ttc last year going by my period app until i read people do temping and found Ava bracelet which made things easier for me and finally got my bfp this year.
