I have my next appt in like 2 weeks and after that we are going to schedule my growth scan, now I am excited to see her again, my doc does ultrasounds on his older machine and last time I was in I saw her opening and closing her mouth. Crazy there is a WHOLE PERSON in there!

candy08 :  yes, those husbands have so much more trouble seeing how real it is. Maui Pineapple has been moving like crazy (super visible from the outside too) and I think it is finally hitting my Darling Husband like a ton of bricks. Are you on every 2 weeks yet? I am still on every 4 but I think I start every 2 after this next appt (I’m 29+3 today)

sunshineglam :  Aw that is exciting you can see her move from the outside! We can too! I cant tell if it’s a hand or foot or what yet….but sometimes when she kicks my whole stomach moves! Sometimes her kicks really surprise me bc they are getting harder. I have my 32 week apt next thurs and from there I go every 2 weeks until 36 weeks, then start going  once a week. It’s getting so real!!

ROLL CALL:

Your age/your partner’s age: 28/28

Baby #: Now pregnant with #4, two living children, one loss from a partial molar pregnancy at 13 weeks in March.

How far along are you/when’s your due date? I am 4 weeks today. Literally JUST got my bfp yesterday. My due date is June 9th.

What is your TTC/MC history? My first daughter we concieved pretty quickly. Our second daughter took about 7 months to concieve and our son, the baby we lost in March, took 1 year of trying. 9 months of that year I was actively tracking my cycle like it was my job. We found out January 5th of this year we were pregnant and after that year of trying we were exstatic. Things seemed fairly normal except that I was INSANELY sick. Figured maybe I had HG. Went to my 12 week appointment and found out that the baby had high NT levels and fluid in the belly and around the brain. We were referred to a higher level hosptial and genetic specialists and found out the next week that he had passed between our two appoints. At my d&c my doctor found out after removing my placenta that I had had a suspected partial molar pregnancy. Because of that it took 2.5 months for my hcg to get back down to zero and we were told it may be safest to wait to concieve. Our doctor recommended 6 months but all the studies we found and medical journals stated 4 weeks to three months so going into our third month we started trying after getting a clear post loss ultrasound (had only tiny polyp but nothing else)

Having any symptoms? Lots of acne but not much else. I did throw up once but I was also sobbing sooo 😛

What’s the next milestone for you in this pregnancy? I just want to make sure everything is okay with this babe. I want to hear their heartbeat. I want the panorama to come back normal. I want a little reassurance that this pregnancy is different than my loss.

Any coping strategies for dealing with the anxiety that comes with pregnancy after a loss? Before I even got my BFP I decided that I’m going to try and relish ever moment of this. If it lasts 2 weeks, or 20 weeks or if I get a healthy baby in my arms out of this I’m going to cherish each moment. I was so sick with my loss pregnancy (partial molars cause super high HCG and sickness) and so ignorant to the idea I could EVER have a loss last time that I feel like I didn’t enjoy every moment. I just wanted it to be the next week and the next week and the next week.

What are you most excited about with this pregnancy? I’m excited that we concieved first shot. That’s a new one for us. Gives me hope that this is for real our rainbow baby <3

Any babymoon plans?? Not yet, but I’d love to!

tiffanybruiser :  Yes, now it happens all day long and she has her busy time as soon as I get in bed. I am finally at the point where I am appreciating her movements – even when she hits my bladder, at least I think it’s my bladder, I get this weird stinging sesation and it feels like I have to pee.

candy08 :  hahaha yes, I was feeling around last night trying to figure out what part everything was and still have no clue! My next appt is next Tuesday and will be my 31 week and after that my every 2 weeks starts after that. I have seen so many people starting every 2 weeks closer to 28 weeks so I wasn’t sure if it was only me.

mamamoncher :  welcome, wishing you a uneventful 9 months! We are all here to get you through that early anxiety (we all had it!).

Hi Bees! Its been a long journey for me since I had a miscarriage a year ago. Through all the OB appt’s, fertility specialists, hysteroscopies, hormone therapy, water tests, HSG’s, the list goes on…we have finally found ourselves pregnant again. First baby, a little over 4 weeks along.

Does anyone have advice on the emotional aspect of this? I have had a hard time getting excited after the BFP. I am so scared something will happen again. Anyone have any tips? And have you guys gotten early ultrasounds 2nd time around to be abke to see the heartbeat or baby early and make sure its developing? My office wants me to wait 8 weeks 🙁

plprincess99 :  Congratulations!!! Sounds like you have had a long journey. I think every lady on this board can relate to the anxiety especially in the early days. I had to go through IVF to get pregnant so i get  having to deal with a fertility specialist, testing, and losses can take a toll on you. I was like you at first it was hard for me to get excited when I got my bfp. I mean I was excited but I was afraid to really relax and let myself be fully excited. Only advice I can give is what worked for me. I just told myself worry wouldnt change the outcome, I am pregnant now so I am going to try and enjoy it, and did things that helped me relax and that I enjoyed. That helped the time pass. I had an early ultrasound at 6 and half weeks bc I did ivf but I know many places like you to wait until 8 weeks. Many women on this board though had early ultrasounds. I think it depends on where you are located. I think it wouldnt hurt to ask for an early ultrasound for peace of mind because of what you went through in the past. All they do is tell you no. We have been where you are and those early days are exciting but scary. You will find lots of support on here!! I wish you all the best!!

Just checking in. Got great news on our NIPT today. All is well as far as the trisomies go and I feel like I can finally (somewhat) breathe. I have a u/s scheduled later this week.

The NIPT came back inconclusive on gender results though. Doc says it occasionally happens and not to worry. Any one else have this happen?

ROLL CALL:

Your age/your partner’s age: 30/31

Baby #: 1

How far along are you/when’s your due date? 4 weeks today, due July 1st according to FF

What is your TTC/MC history? conceived our first on my 2nd ovulatory cycle ever. Took over a year to even get my period after quitting BC. I had a long history of irregular periods. I had to gain weight to help get it to come back and once it did I had very long cycles…

Having any symptoms? sort of. I was mildly crampy in the very beginning and I am a lot hungrier than usual! Occasional headaches and fatigue. I’m ready for a nap by lunch and I’m having to go to bed a lot earlier.

What’s the next milestone for you in this pregnancy? I have a phone appt scheduled for tmrw afternoon and I am sure from there I will schedule my first u/s. I’m cautiously excited this time. I’m going to be very nervous until I get to see this little sticky bean.

Any coping strategies for dealing with the anxiety that comes with pregnancy after a loss? trying not to think too far ahead and make too many plans just yet. I’m not letting myself get excited yet either which I don’t like but I’m so scared of going through what we’ve already been through and it hurts when you let yourelf get too attached too soon 🙁

What are you most excited about with this pregnancy? getting through the 1st trimester for starters!

Any babymoon plans?? I just told hubby this morning if we have a sticky baby, I’d love to go on a babymoon for my birthday in May. I was so sick for my 30th this year when I was pregnant with our first so I am looking forward to a happier birthday this year.
