sunshineglam :  I thought you were right behind me! Yes the 3rd trimester has been flying!! I’ve been feeling pretty good lately. I think I’m in the nesting phase so lots of energy surprisingly. But still have the pregnancy aches and pains. My hands started to swell so I had to take my rings off and I get round ligament pains if I over do it. Pressure when baby is on bladder and sometiemes and backpain occasionally . Have to pee a lot but mostly I feel good. How are you feeling?

tiffanybruiser :  That’s exciting your baby has dropped!  That’s neat you can tell. I wonder if I’ll be able too? My little one is so low already I wonder if it will be obvious or not? Glad to hear you are doing well accept for the normal pregnancy pains.  I can see how it can get tough sleeping through the night. I already have to pee so often and my little one I dont believe has dropped yet. I know it is tough not knowing when the actual labor will begin! I think in the coming weeks that will get hard for me as I will start to look for every little sign!! But I know like you said only time will tell! I have an appt tomorrow but I feel like my doc mentioned they dont check for dilation until the end either.  You are getting so close!! Glad you are doing well!!

Thank you !!!! I actually had my Little One 2 weeks ago!!! at 38 weeks…the day before I did stairs for about 45 minutes and had been drinking rasperry leaf tea.  I literally had NOT A SYMPTOM before labour.  Not a single contraction or braxton hick etc etc.  I started getting contractions at 10am, and was already 7cm dialated by 1pm….  I ended up getting an extreme emergency C- section (put under with gas because of the urgency)  They didn’t realize MY BABY WAS BREECH until i was 9 cm dialated! there was nothing they could do about the umblical cord being tied around her kneck because of the position, and her heart rate had dropped to 70bmp…. so I was run into an OR and the baby was out in FIVE MINUTES….   Happy to report we have a happy healthy little girl who is cute as a button. I also cant believe people don’t have babies in hospitals because of this exact situation….

A few days of crap sleeping but for the most part its ok now – and just so happy to have a heatlhy babe nothign else seems to matter! The c-section healing hasnt been bad at all either, I was up and walking the next day, and now just trying not to push myself.

I put on 22 pounds during pregancy and I’m already down 22 – BREASTFEEDING IS AMAZING. I am ITCHING to get back to working out, and it sucks with a c-section, but I know it’s not the priorty right now.

I hear you tiffanybruiser! before I had the baby i was dying, getting up for work every morning on 4-5hours of sleep and people would be like “just wait until you have the baby you won’t sleep at all…. and as mentioned I had no symptoms of labour until the day of! so it could happen any time!!!!

beeintraining :  I’m in the same boat as you – MC in August and now due in July. Really hoping these are our sticky little beans!

Your age/your partner’s age: 35/35 – in 2 weeks for both of us

Baby #: 2

How far along are you/when’s your due date? 4w1d, EDD July 10th according to Ovia app

What is your TTC/MC history? Started trying for #2, pregnant the first cycle but resulted in MC. Got a positive the first cycle after D&C – hoping this one is it!

Having any symptoms? Mild cramping but nothing else — trying not to let that freak me out!

What’s the next milestone for you in this pregnancy? Making it through the first trimester. We technically saw a heartbeat (but very low and slower growth than expected) at 8 weeks, had the loss confirmed at 9 weeks. I need to get through those first but 12 will feel much more reassuring.

Any coping strategies for dealing with the anxiety that comes with pregnancy after a loss? Exercise to keep my mind off it, talking to my husband way too much about all my fears, taking blood tests to check levels until we can have our u/s on 11/28

What are you most excited about with this pregnancy? Aside from hoping it’s a successful pregnancy, I cannot wait to see my daughter as a big sister. She adores babies…hopefully she’ll love one that comes home with us too! Ha!

Any babymoon plans?? We’ll probably do a fun family trip as the last one being only a family of three. Bittersweet πŸ™‚

shortpockets :  Welcome and congrats!!!

tiffanybruiser :  That’s funny!! The old wives tale about how you carry doesnt seem to hold much truth. There are 4 of us pregnant at work, all with girls and 2 of us are carrying high and 2 low.

KB87 :  Congratualtions!!! I am so happy for you!!! That is crazy that they didnt realize the baby was breech until you were at the hospital.  I’m so glad everything turned out ok and sounds like all is going well with your little girl!!!!!

tiffanybruiser :   candy08 :  Thank you both! It’s so encouraging having this thread, hearing about all these sweet growing babies. It’ll help me stay optimistic and hopefully keep the nerves at bay.

PS. November is a great month for having babies – I personally vote for the 10th if either of your little ones want to arrive then. I’d be happy to share my birthday with them! πŸ™‚

candy08 :  i

t is crazy!!!   I remember a few months ago thinking there was no end in sight, and that I would never get pregnant! I lived in constant paranoia up until about 20 weeks pregnant.

the baby was frank breech so you could feel the feet up by my ribs…. I’m wondering if it’s because my abdomen was so tight all pregnancy?  You couldn’t tell I had a bump until about 8 months, which worried me.  I never “felt” the baby flip either.  I had an ultrasound at 31-32 weeks and she was feet down but they were like “dont worry, they usually flip by 34″…  I honestly have a bit of PTSD and am wondering about just scheduling a c-section for my next pregnancy, although the doctor said i am a great candidate for VBAC, because I basically was labouring within 6 hours and 9cm… I just could never go through that again!

my water also broke before my contractions started, so I’m sure that’s also why they werent feeling around (in case of infection). But everytime my babe cries in the middle of the night and I want to feel frusturated,  think about how lucky I am..

Ohh Tiffani I forgot to add… my only other syptom was a i lost my mucus plug 2 weeks before… but I have heard of people losing it the day of.  I wouldn’t worry about having no contractions or symptoms, consider yourself LUCKY lol.  when I got to the hospital after my water broke I was having no contractions, and they hooked me up to a monitor and they were like “uhhh ya we can see your contractions on the monitor” hahaha…. dont get me wrong, an hour later I COULD DEFINITELY tell I was having contractions – has your doctor told you how dilated/effaced your are?  are you getting a membrane sweep?

Well ladies I had an interesting 36 week appt yesterday. Throughout this pregnancy my blood pressure has been pretty much perfect but yesteday it was high for some reason. My doctor checked it several times and apparently it was high enough that she sent me to the hosptial to monitor me and baby. She told me she was concerned I may have gestational hypertension….basically high blood pressure brought on by pregnancy or even preeclampsia. She said if I got diagnosed with gestational hypertension they would induce me next week at 37 weeks but if it was preclamisa they would induce me last night!! So needless to say I was shocked.  She did the gbs test and that was no big deal but when she tried to check for dilation I was so tense and stressed by what she just said it was hurting so she  stopped and said they didnt need to do it. Long story short my blood pressure did finally go down at the hospital. They didnt diagnose me with either.  They sent me home and said they weren’t sure if It was just a fluke with my blood pressure or what but if at any of my appts my blood pressure is that high again they will induce me as they said then they diagnose me with gestational hypertension.  So I go back this Tues. Dh told me to try and stay calm to keep my blood pressure down but I’m like…..I thought I was calm when they took my blood pressure the first time!! They did tell me it will be ok bc I am far enough along the baby will be fine if they induce. There is also a small.chance this could turn into preclamisa as well.  So anyways each week depending on my blood pressure I may be induced and as early as next week. If my blood pressure stays under what they want it to they will just let me  go into labor on my own unless I go to far past my due date. I would definatly rather go into labor on my own….but Dh reminded me that the docs said baby will be fine and we will just get to met her sooner if  my blood pressure goes back up so I am trying to stay positive and prepare myself for it going either way at my appts. Needless to say dh will be installing the carseat this weekend! Also they did an us. Baby is way head down. They said she is so low in my pelvis which I knew from all the pressure I have been feeling . They couldnt tell if she dropped or not from the us but they said they didnt need to know that for now anyway. Baby is doing great. She is 6 pounds 6 ounces in the 78% percentile so that made me feel better as well. So I’m just trying to relax and not Google this weekend. I just pray the baby is born healthy  however we have to get her out is ok with me as long as she is ok.  Sorry this was long!! Hope everyone else is doing well!!

KB87 :  I remember your posts when you were worried you would never get pregnant and now you have your little girl!! That is so wonderful!!  I’m sure it was so scary when they found out she is breech! So glad all turned out ok. I’m defiantly learning that the last month of pregnancy all bets are off and you really cant prepare for eveyething.  The important thing is they found out she was breech In time and got her out safely!! I’m just so happy for you!! As for doing a vbac vs c section for your next pregnancy…..im sure you will make the right choice for you! You have time and eveyeone has a different preference on that.  Glad all is going well!!

UPDATE!!!!!Hi Ladies! I had my little girl!!!! My blood pressure kept going up so they induced me at exactly 37 weeks. Baby girl is very healthy!!! It was shocking as they admitted me to the hospital and told me they would be inducing me early the next day. Good thing we were pretty prepared at home for the baby. Luckily since giving birth my blood pressure has so far been trending back down so they are thinking it was preganncy related but they are still monitoring. The induction went very fast and it shocked the doctors as they gave me the stuff that was supposed to ripen my cervix…..then they were supposed to give me iv meds to throw me into labor once i was dilated enough…….well the cervix meds broke my water and threw me into labor. I was having hard contractions before I got my epidural. That was rough but I was able to get the epidural after that and all was a lot easier for me. I basically went from being 0 dilated to 4cm which they consider active labor. I had a vaginal birth. It was the most amazing experience of my life when they put my little girl in my arms!!! All the pregancy discomfort, the shots and many doc appts for ivf…….the anxiety this pregnancy over enduring 2 prior losses-all worth it and I would do it all again once I met my little peanut!!! I loved her so much already!!!!!  I am home feeling tired but doing well. Baby girl is healthy and I am so relieved and so in love I dont even mind I havent gotten much sleep!!!

I wish all of you on here a happy and healthy pregnancy and a safe birthing experience and healthy babies!!!! How have all you ladies been??? I’ll be checking back on this thread to read updates from you ladies!!!
