candy08 :   tiffanybruiser :  Congratulations!!!  I am so happy for you two, I feel like we’ve been on this pregnancy journey together (in an internet way :-p) and it is really exciting and satisfying to hear happy stories from the other side :-)!!!

I am 30 weeks today and have a doctor’s appointment tomorrow where we are getting a 3D ultrasound.  Very excited to see how this little fella is doing.

tiffanybruiser :  Awwww!!!! Yay! So glad everything went well and you’re finally able to hold that little girl! Enjoy those newborn snuggles, they’re over way too soon.

How are you recovering?

Also, no one told me that your body continues to push water out for like an hour after your water breaks. I thought it breaks and that’s it! Lol, so, so wrong.

I kept apologizing to the nurse, “Sorry. Body wants to be like Niagara Falls I guess.” “Hope you have some life jackets handy!” “No wonder I got so fat.” Oi!

tiffanybruiser :  OMG congrats! I am so happy you are both (mostly) healthy – I had jaundice pretty bad as a baby and I am just fine :-), I am sure before you know it she will be away from that blanket. And I just love her name! It was on my name list but wasn’t one of hubby’s favs so it got nixed. I just get so many warm tingles seeing all our rainbow babies entering the world, it’s be a journey mamas but we are making it!

AFM, 36+4 today, had my 1st NST yesterday and Maui Pineapple is doing really well, still breech but nice and healthy. She has moved all of an inch since my appt 2 weeks ago so I think shes pretty happy where she is. We have another week or so before we make the final c-section decision but the way I am feeling (just over being pregnant) I am ready for her to come on 12/3 (the currently scheduled c-section date).

I hope all you new mama ladies are recovering well and that our still pregnant mamas are doing well!

tiffanybruiser :  Congratulations!!!!!! I am so happy for you!! My little came Novembee 7th ..I was induced but my labor story was similar. I ended up having contractions about 2 mins apart and begging for the epidural as well!! I agree epidural is magic!!!! Also they told me I still had hours after that but she was ready to come with in like 2 hrs. I had to push for 2 hrs and 45 mins so I know what you mean about labor!!! It was the hardest part for me!! Felt like I had no energy left but I had to keep pushing. Thay was probably the part I wasnt really expecting. How hard it would be! But it is all worth it once they are out!! I am so glad you guys are home and doing well!! We are doing well! Sleep deprived of course but it is getting easier  how have you been doing? Again so glad you are doing well and we both have our little girls!!

Hope to hear more birtj stories from you ladies as well!!

tiffanybruiser :  So glad to hear things are going well!! Also glad your parents are able to help out!! My mom was able to stay with us for a few days and that was amazing bc like your family she did all the laundry, cooking, and housework. When she left dh had to go back to work so it was a struggle with no sleep but dh helps a lot around the house and gets up with baby on the weekend so that is nice!! We had to wake the baby evey 2 hrs at first for feedings but now that she is back up to birth weight we are allowed to go 3 hrs and the extra hour is magical!! I feel so much more refreshed!! Glad you are doing well with breastfeeding!! I’m not so lucky. My little one doesnt latch well. The lacatation consultant told me this can happen with babies born early. So I’ve been pumping and formula feeding. Yes the postpardom hormones were intense at first but I feel like I’ve done a lot better this week! Just getting used to the routine of the baby and getting by on less sleep. It is getting easier. My family is coming back for Thanksgiving and they will be cooking and helping out so I am looking forward to that!! I love my little one more and more everyday!! So even the hard days are ok bc she is worth it!! I am so glad to hear all is well with you!!

I cant wait to see posts of all the other rainbow babies born!!!!!Hope all you ladies are doing well!!

candy08 :  hi! Thanks for checking in, baby girl is still

breech, she hasn’t moved even a little bit even though doc says she has plenty of amniotic fluid. So she will be here on Monday! My last day at work was yesterday so now I just relax until Monday afternoon. I’m sooo excited to meet her and to wrap this pregnancy up! I’ll be sure to come back and update how my scheduled c-section went!

how are things going with you? how’s the breastfeeding going? I know you said earlier that your baby girl wasn’t latching properly.

I’m happy to read these updates 🙂  How’s everyone doing?

We had our 32 week appointment on Friday.  The doctor said that 32 weeks is a great milestone because early as this is, if the baby were to be born he would most likely not have any major problems.  Crazy to think about.  I’m starting to feel a little panicky about not having anything ready.  The crib arrived in the mail this week but it is not assembled yet.  I’m having a work baby shower on Thursday and then one with friends next weekend.  My husband is in school, so will have much more time when finals end next week to build things (I’m pretty useless in that capacity!)  Baby continues to have alternatingly extremely active and extremely slow moving days.  I am craving carrots and marshmallows.  Haha.

I’m loving these updates!!! I’m 35+1 today and getting itchy to be prepared yet too tired to move. I’m kicking myself for procrastinating! I’m so looking forward to meeting baby girl and I love hearing everyone’s stories!

sparklesbelle :   singingbee5 :  Wow you guys are getting close to your due dates!! I was the same as you guys…..I knew I had a lot to do but was tired and procrastinated . About 2 weeks before I had my little one I did get a ton of energy so I was able to get a lot done. You dont have to have everything done when your baby gets here…..but somethings I had done before she got here and was glad I did were obviously have the carseat installed ….her outfits, blankets, burp clothes were all washed up. I had my diapers and wipes stocked up….also my changing table set up. Had some clean bottles which I was glad I did bc I ended up having to pump. Have a place for her to sleep. We also set up her rocknplay as soon as we got her home and she loves it! Also we used a noise machine” the rest” which has been great. I had other stuff done to but it could have waited. I only just finished decorating her room this weekend. So I think if you have the essentials done you will be ok! So glad to hear all is going well for you guys.  Enjoy your remaining weeks of pregnancy….I felt like mine went fast and sometimes I miss feeling her kick lol  also get your sleep now while you can! I miss sleep but I am getting used to having less of it if that makes sense. Cant wait to hear your labor stories soon!!

sparklesbelle :  Also it is so normal for the baby to have a lot of movement one day and then another not feel as much. As long as you feel her move everyday you are good! So funny my little one got hiccups everyday around 430pm and 1030pm. Now that she Is out….she still gets hiccups around those times! Hey as for your cravings at least you are craving something healthy like carrots with your marshmallows!
