This is my second pregnancy and our son is almost 15 so it has been a while. I am just a little over 4 weeks and so nervous and anxious about something going wrong. I am sure after appx 6 to 8 weeks I will feel better, but for now I just want to go buy mass quantities of pregnancy tests and take them like every day! 🙂
I also know every pregnancy is different, but I think back to my first pregnancy and I was soooo sick by the 5th or 6th week. So I’m completely on the lookout for symptoms, like there might be something wrong if I don’t start feeling sick.
Any other nervous nellies out there?

Hi dear, I’m in the same boat. I’m pregnant with my 3rd child. My oldest will be around 9 years old and middle one is going to be 7 when I have this baby. I am 8 weeks preggo. I had mixed feelings when I found out I was pregnant. I was nervous and a bit scared but I didnt know why I was feeling. So you are not the only one feeling that way. You will be ok after reality kicked in. It’s starting to kick in for me but not 100% yet. we will be okay. lets just think positive…Congrats on your pregnancy. It will be exciting to start everything again..I tested 6 times with diff brands because I couldn’t believe the result. You will believe you are preggo when your belly starts popping out. That’s how I’m feeling because my belly doesn’t show yet. But I’m having morning sickness..now I’m kind of still in denial.. Good luck..everything will be fine..

futuremlbs: I am so glad I’m not alone in this. 🙂 I had horrible morning sickness with my first so I feel like when/if that it’s it will actually be a reassurance lol. Congrats to you!! I’m happy to know you tested that many times. My hubby told me not to worry and pointed out that even if I’m having a hard time believing the two positive prego tests that AF not arriving is a big giveaway too. I’ll probably buy anot her test, different brand and take it today anyhow. 🙂

Terrified!!! Why does noone tell you pregnancy is so scary?!? In real life, all you see is happy, healthy babies. And on the internet, everything is about miscarriage.
I have sore boobs, fatigue and a bit of nausea at 7 weeks. Doesn’t feel hard enough, so I’m super paranoid!

I am! And even my hubby is a bit ‘lets not get too excited until we have our first scan’. its hard because part of me is so excited but another is so fricken nervous about every cramp and ever bit of spotting. I don’t have nausea yet, but I am super tired so it doesn’t feel enough haha.
So nice to hear the other side of the ‘yay we are expecting’ story 🙂

pink.lemonade: oh my gosh my boobs are so sore too. I am currently wearing a sports bra and it is helping. 🙂
mazzoffee: I have the same problem! Every tiny twinge in my lower stomach makes me wince, afraid it will be something bad. I did read that it is normal to have some mild cramping due to changes your body goes through to get ready. Thankfully I haven’t had spotting, I know it is totally normal, but I’m sure it would send me off the deep end! 🙂
