Ugh I’m getting it on my neck. So gross. I’ve just been washing it more than normal, but haven’t found anything that works miracles yet. I remember prior to getting pregnant when I had a bad spell of body acne, there was a neutrogena acne body wash that I used that really cleared it up quickly.

I dont have any tips on how to help with it, but yea…im totally getting that right now. Never got body acne before, now I currently have 7 pimples on my chest…totally embarassing. I guess better there than my face though. For my face im using oxypads and clean and clear lotion that has salycic acid in it…seems to be working on my face anyhow.

I agree with the neutrogena acne body wash. I have been dealing with the body acne ever since I stopped using bc and it’s worse now that I’m pregnant…ugh!

Some peope swear by… believe it or not… Head and Shoulders shampoo, because it has Zinc in it, which can help combat acne if there is an inbalance.

You can get zinc oxide sticks for treating acne.  I’m not sure of exact places to find them but I’m sure google will find them.

Often, acne targeted body washes just make the problem worse by overdrying the skin. I used ot have a lot of body acne and I used both Clean and Clear and Neutrogena washes. My skin never really got better. Then, an esthetician suggested I switch to a mid soap with a clean washcloth (as in a clean one every time I shower). I now use Dove for sensitive skin and my skin is just fine. I still get the occassional flair up, but it’s not bad at all and I’m saving a lot of money.

@tampalove35:  Mositure and oil are different. Moisture is necessary and can help you prevent acne. If your skin gets dry from not being moisturized, your body will produce more oil to compensate.
