I got one for my Darling Husband that was called the Caveman’s Pregnancy Companion, lol.  It actually had a lot of great info.  But written in a funny way.

I bought Darling Husband a book called Expectant Father. But, Darling Husband never read it.

I have paged through it and I found it very helpful.

Darling Husband read “Dude, You’re Gonna Be A Dad” and another one that Im pretty sure also had “dude” in the title and is now reading “What to Expect when she’s Expecting.” He’s totally kicking my butt in reading through pregnancy books and is not usually a reader at all. I haven’t really looked at any of them, but he seems pretty informed and I think there is a fair bit of humor thrown in.

bibber :  I got my husband the ‘Be Prepared’ book and it’s hilarious! I suggest it, I even enjoyed reading it. My husband is mr/ outdoorsman, ‘manly-man’ too and I found the book to be cheeky yet informative.

I also got him ‘Dad’s Guide to Pregnancy for Dummies’ a couple weeks later. The ‘Be Prepared’ book is great for newborns/babies, but my husband had a hard time at first understanding me and the pregnancy, why I was so tired, why I had to take it easy, things like that. The stages of pregnancy book really helped with that. He’s been reading along with my pregnancy to understand each stage, it’s awesome and has made him so much more aware and supportive.

I bought “DUDE! You’re Going to be a DAD!” for my Darling Husband. I like how it breaks up into trimesters. So he has read basically 1/3 of the book now and will ready the 2/3 when I am approaching 2nd trimester. It seems kinda funny when I was flipping through pages.

I asked him what it was saying in the book and he said, “Pretty much tells you to take very good care of your wife because she is going through a lot more than you are right now!”. I think that was accurate.

He has made a few helpful comments about my morning sickness that I think he got from the book.
