I got my first pregnancy craving on Christmas Day right as my husband and I were driving into town to visit my parents. I had felt miserable all day and literally nothing sounded good to eat until we drove by pizza ranch. All I could think about was ranch sticks! (cheesy breadsticks you dip in pizza sauce). Since pizza ranch was closed for the holiday I had to wait until today to go for the lunch buffet and to finally satisfy my relentless craving. I just wonder what I will desperately want to eat next!
So tell me about your pregnancy cravings, what did you crave? Also, did you find any truth in the thought that craving salty foods means you’re having and boy and sweet things means girl? Comment below!

Sandwiches. Team green, we will find out in 30 days!

I wanted glazed donuts with mint chocolate chip ice cream and diet Dr Pepper poured on top. Gestational diabetes said that was a horrible idea. I also ate loads of tomato based foods. Sauces, soup, ketchup…I don’t even like tomatoes. I had a girl.

Kraft Dinner! So weird because I haven’t had it since I was about 12. 😛

Still pregnant here and one of my weirdest was bread and butter (sweet) pickles and spicy extreme beans (pickled beans), I’d alternate. I’m still obsessed with sweet pickles. I always love cheese but I ADORE it pregnant, same as sea salt and malt vinegar Miss Vickies.
Strawberry shortcake had me for a long time, which then changed to black cherry ice cream and lemon meringue pie got me more than slightly excited lol
My biggest aversion and it’s something I’m not a HUGE fan of usually was the smell of pork cooking. I can eat it now but for a while there, no chance….. just repulsive!
I’d say my cravings have been split, salty and sweet. I’m having a boy.

I have a little boy. I craved homemade fries with vinegar like daily, we went through a lot of potatoes. I cant remember if there was anything else, just that!

My first pregnancy I ate pizza(just frozen, nothing special) every day for a good 3 months.. Then it changed to chicken piccata. I also craves sweets, when i was never one to go out of my way. – that pregnancy was a girl.
this pregnancy, I thankfully haven’t had any crazy cravings.. But it’s still semi early(17 weeks). We find out in a little over 3 weeks what we are having

Hotdogs! I don’t remember the last time I ate a hotdog pre-pregnancy.
The night I got the craving, Darling Husband and I went going to the store. He insisted in going to the large wholesale store. Of course they didn’t have the normal hotdog buns I needed, so I had to run into Giant Eagle afterwards. I was exhausted and starving and crabby so I ran right to the bread aisle and then realized THEY MOVED THE BREAD! I was so upset. Darling Husband caught up with me to find me welling up with tears, mumbling that they moved the bread.
So that first craving was also my first overly emotional moment. I’m still only 12 weeks.

Bacon all the way, and the funny thing is I don’t eat meat so craving bacon was super weird. It lasted for about 2 months and I probably had it two to three times a week. And for a while I also really craved lays bbq chips. We’re having a girl though so no truth for me to the sweet vs. salty old wives tale!

Citrus. Grapefruit juice and clementine oranges. I’m 25 weeks, and have been craving that since about week 6. We’re having a boy.

- Wedding: March 2016 - Sand Key Park- Clearwater Beach Elopement
When I was pregnant in 2014, my craving was orange juice. I was all about that orange juice. I was one day shy of seven weeks when I lost the pregnancy, so my fiance and I never learned the sex.

My cravings are different every week! First it was sourdough and cheese, then anything lemon flavored, then strawberries and pancakes/waffles, then classic club sandwiches from Quiznos. Today I am craving cinnamon rolls and pizza. And I wouldn’t mind a sandwich, lol. We don’t know if it’s a boy or girl yet.
