My boobs swelled almost immediately to one cup size more. It really depends on the person, though – some women gain more, some less!

I was a small/med C cup when I got pregnant. My boobs grew right away but I didn’t need to go into a D cup until I was about 7 months pregnant. I was a full D by the time I gave birth so I ordered my nursing bras in a double D. Once my milk came in I was busting out of those double D bras. It’s crazy how big they can get! Once I settled into a nursing routine they were probably a full C. I’d say plan on 1 to 2 cup sizes probably.

I was barely in a C cup when I got pregnant.  I was in a D about a month later and sometimes I wear a Dirty Delete cause it’s more comfortable.

Mine keep getting bigger pretty steadily. I’m 35 weeks and on my 2nd bra size, but should really be in a bigger one. It’s very uncomfy.

Does your dress have straps? I’m about 25 weeks and am wearing nursing bras to accommodate my larger chest because I was going to need them at some point anyway. They’re really comfortable!

I have heard (so this is just rumors) that if you are larger normally you won’t gain too much size but they will fill up and become heavier and painful (oh joy!) but if you are smaller then you will gain size and the other good stuff.

@Oneeleven: I heard that as well when I got pregnant, but it wasnt the case for me or for 2 of my friends.  Im pretty small and had a 34C cup before I got pregnant.  Im exactly the same bra size though (thank goodness.   I didnt want bigger boobs.)  I think it just toally depends on the person

Mine didn’t get any bigger up until about 15-16 weeks. I was feeling pretty smug thinking mine wouldn’t change (at least not until maybe the very end). I had a full C going in and did not want them to get any bigger. Right about 18 weeks I noticed I was spilling out of all my bras. I am now 25 weeks and have gone up to a D. The D is just a hair too big but they fit better than my C bras. I am hoping I can keep it to a D, and get back down to a C as soon as possible.
