For the record, I am not pregnant and Fiance and I are not TTC. We’re TTA, actually. Though, we would *eventually* like to (probably) have kids.
Anywho, every once in a while I’ll have a dream that I’m pregnant. They always kind of freak me out and make me wonder “Might I be pregnant?”
Well, I had one last night. Usually, my preggo dreams consist of me being pretty far along or giving birth, and sometimes that we already have a kid. In the dream I had last night, I had just found out I was preggo by going to the doc and getting an ultrasound. I came home with the ultrasound pics of the little peanut (which looked pretty well developed, probably about 3-4 months along, even though I was probably a month along) and showed them to Fiance. He was pretty pissed and tried to ignore the fact that I was pregnant, which made me upset. Then I had to buy a different wedding dress to hide the bump I would have.
Do you ever have pregnancy dreams? Were you pregnant IRL? Any meaning behind pregnancy dreams?

I’ve had pregnancy dreams off and on for years (even before I met Darling Husband and was actually ready to have kids) but I think it’s because I’ve always had a deep desire to become a mom. The dreams always ended with me waking up and being sad because I wasn’t actually pregnant!

I had a dream, a few nights after we conceived, that I was getting an ultrasound and found out that we were having twins! The pregnant part was true, the twins part was not.
That said, I’ve had a lot of other pregnancy dreams in the past, and I’ve never actually been pregnant during those. I’ve read that when you dream that someone’s pregnant, it means that they’re about to have a new beginning in some way. Your dream might mean that you’re just really looking forward to creating a new “life” as a married lady!

@MichiganGirl24: Personally, I never had “I’m pregnant” dreams until I became pregnant! I’ve posted this before, but my first sign that I was pregnant was a dream that I was Jessica Day from New Girl. I was worried that Nick had gotten me pregnant so I got a pregnancy test. I just touched it with my hand and it turned positive.
I woke up with wide eyes but pushed it aside. Turns out I was pregnant and had I tested that day, I would have probably gotten a positive test!
My Darling Husband on the other hand always dreamed he was a dad long before we got pregnant. Even when we were TTA! Once he dreamed that we had a toddler who was walking for the first time and fell over!
I know it was a personal goal of mine to get married before having a baby! So I definitely had some anxiety about it! I’m actually surprised I didn’t dream I was pregnant before the wedding!

I had TONS of pregnancy dreams before I was pregnant.
And I always woke up freaked out and shaky. I was never pregnant. When I was actually pregnant, all my dreams were either sex dreams or teeth-falling-out dreams!

I have a pregnancy dream probably every three nights or so. At least twice a week. And I LOVE them (DH and I are currently TTC) but when I wake up I am heartbroken that it was only a dream. The night before last, though, I had a first… a positive pregnancy test dream! Hoping that one comes true in the next week 🙂

@KatieBklyn: I had a dream about having twins a few days after I *hope* we conceived. I’m still waiting to find out if either part was true!
I’ve had a bunch of pregnancy dreams, especially over the past year. When I actually was pregnant, they became a lot more detailed and vivid!

I never did. But my mom had a dream I was pregnant the night before I tested and I was. Her sister in law had a dream when that my mother was pregnant with my sister years ago before she knew. I had a feeling a friend of mine was pregnant and SHE was (hadn’t talked in months). IDK. But about MYSELF – no. In fact all the months TTC I was never so sure I wasn’t pregnant in my life as right before I tested postive. The only reason I tested was 1- I was technically 1 day late and 2- my mom’s dream. My husband didn’t want to buy one because he was sick of wasting money on tests (no idea how much he thought they were or how cheap my own sanity should be).

I’ve never had pregnancy dreams, but I have had very vivid realistic positive POAS dreams. One the night before I did get my BFP (That said, I also had them the cycle before where I was NOT pregnant).

@MichiganGirl24: I always heard that dreaming of pregnancy or birth is the sign of changes in your life, like a new beginning x

I’ve had quite a few dreams like this and just had one last night! Last night I dreamt that I was waiting at the doctor’s office to confirm the pregnancy. Times before that I’ve dreamt of getting a BFP and even ones where I’m holding the baby. Can’t wait for June to come so we can make this a reality!
ETA: My Mother-In-Law had text me back in Aug that she dreamt I was with child. I replied and told her “sorry not prego”. Three days later I was a day late so I decided to POAS and got a BFP. Unfortuantely that pregnancy ended in mc but I still find it crazy that she dreamt that and it came true!
