souza_2005:  I went a bit a lighter but not until the start of my third trimester. I wasn’t lifting a lot of weight, though, since I normally do more plyometrics/body weight. It’s easier to strain muscles and joints when you’re pregnant because of the hormone relaxin, so I was cautious about that as I didn’t want to be pregnant and injured, ugh! I wasn’t uncomfortable laying flat on my back until later in the third trimester, when I would sometimes feel a bit light-headed. If you feel ok on your back now it should be fine but if you feel dizzy I would stop and take a breather and not do that exercise again for a little while.

souza_2005:  Do what your body tells you to do. If you are craving something “unhealthy” eat it. My friend spent most of the first trimester drinking orange soda and eating gummibears. But that was all she could handle. The baby is a parasite and will take what it needs from you.
