How far along? 21.5 weeks (how much do I feel like a kid using half weeks?)

Total weight gain/loss:  At my 20 week appointment, I was only up about 6 pounds, but I am skeptical. I personally think I look like I ate a basketball, and my bellybutton is only barely clinging to “innie” status. I have a feeling the next weigh-in is going to be a killer, since over the past couple weeks I’ve developed the appetite of a fifteen year old boy going through a growth spurt.

Maternity clothes? Oh yes. I love my Gap black pants and several Oh Baby shirts… I was really disappointed in Pea in the Pod stuff though.

Movement: Yup, especially in the car. Weird. I can’t wait till DH can get to feel it.

Food cravings:  EVERYTHING. (kidding)  Lemonade has kind of been a constant throughout the pregnancy. Also went through a watermelon phase.

How are you feeling this week?  Way better than first trimester, finally, although I miss sleeping on my stomach like crazy. I also miss sleeping with my dog, who has now officially been kicked out of the bed πŸ™

Milestones: The 20 week ultrasound was pretty cool. It was really reassuring to see/hear that everything seems to be going well so far, and the pictures were fun (albeit a little creepy looking, in the case of the 3D one!)

I haven’t done one of these yet and I’m half way there so its about time…

How far along? Will be 21 weeks Friday 12/10

Total weight gain/loss: Down 27lbs thanks to horrible morning sickness and being fat to begin with. I’m sure it will come back soon though.

Maternity clothes? Not really. My prepregnancy pants are actually kinda big now, but I’ve had to add in some longer shirts to make sure the belly stays covered. Could use a new jacket/hoodie soon probably.

Movement: Yup, especially in the evenings on the couch..

Food cravings:  Not much- haven’t had a real good appetite but publix chicken tenders have tasted good recently

How are you feeling this week?  So-so… First week in months without constant sickness while at work, but I also somehow developed thrush in my mouth which is really painful and aggrivating.

Milestones: Hubby can feel the baby move sometimes now too… He bent down to talk to her this weekend and she kicked him in the face. It was hilarious! Also being over half way feels pretty good too!

How far along? starting 38th week

Total weight gain/loss: 35 lbs and holding steady

Maternity clothes? black cotton nightgown; vest over day clothes so I don’t have to wear a bra!

Movement: lots of bumps and jumps…still

Food cravings: milk…still

How are you feeling this week? happy :)…finally not working for 6 1/2 months, hooray!! Taking lots of naps but still pretty uncomfortable. This baby is enormous (or the amount of amniotic fluid is) and poking out everywhere.

Milestones: found out baby girl is breech and scheduled a c section 11 days from now, in case she doesn’t turn; started reading aloud baby books; co-workers threw a final shower; compiled delivery date ‘pool’ list for people who guessed on the delivery date; finished all but 3 thank you cards; bought a pocket videocam for the babe’s arrival!

Update beginning week 39: Less than a week til c section and baby is NOT BREECH anymore. We didn’t do any formal techniques (medical or natural)…just prayed and had friends praying for God’s best in this situation. Her head is down engaged and we are waiting for her to appear anyday (or any week) now. Car seats finally installed and we are going to try for non-medicated delivery, usinglabor pool.

How far along: 28w6d

Total Weight Gain: 18 pounds

Maternity Clothes: Definitely! I stopped wearing my last pair of normal pants a month ago, and now it’s all maternity!

Movement: I started feeling movement around 21 weeks and others could feel it by the 23rd week. He is more consistent and his movements are bigger as he’s been growing. Sometimes he’ll really get going and you can see my whole belly move. It’s the best thing!

Food Cravings: McDonald’s french fries with salt and ketchup. Only when they are fresh though. I have taken fries back and asked for fresh ones before, too! Also basically any carb is yummy, especially bread and bagels.

Milestones: We hit the third trimester! Baby is about 2.5 lbs now. I failed the 1hr glucose screen, but passed the 3 hr glucose tolerance test. Holy moly was that a sucky 3 hours!

How far along: 11 weeks 4 days!!  Almost at 12!

Total weight gain/loss: lost 3lbs.  Jackpot =o)

Maternity clothes? Nope – still in all my regular clothes.  They arent even tight yet.

Movement: Way too early for me yet

Food cravings: nada

How are you feeling this week? Great!

Milestones: 2nd ultrasound!  Heart Rate was at 177, got to see an actual PERSON (last time it was just a lil blob =o)) and it was sucking its thumb or touching its face..you could see the individual fingers.  Insanity.  My due date was moved up 6 days, so Im measuring about a week ahead now!

Weekly wisdom: still nothin

How far along: 11 weeks exactly

Total weight gain/loss: um, I actually don’t know because I wasn’t keeping track before

Maternity clothes? Oh yeah. It’s true what they say about second pregnancies. The belly just starts sticking out before you’re ready to tell anyone.

Movement: Too early, but I’ve been pysching myself out from week 3.

Food cravings: No food cravings really, but I’m in love with smelling orange sapphire lotion from Bath and Body Works. Weird.

How are you feeling this week? I want a nap and to stop having acid belly, but overall pretty good.

Milestones: Had our first ultrasound and the baby waved and wiggle danced. It was awesome. There was also a really powerful heartbeat which the doctor commented about. Friday, we’re going to the high risk doctor just to make us feel better; we’re not listed as high risk technically though.

Weekly wisdom: Make sure to always have good food snacks, toothbrush, and toothpaste! Also, crying happens over ridiculous things sometimes. It’s best to laugh at the hormonal craziness as soon as possible. I often go from crying to laughing in less than 5 minutes.

adding myself!

How far along? We’re due on our ANNIVERSARY!! 8/7/11! Makes me 10 weeks as of right now

Maternity clothes: Belly Bands already, thank you second child!

Sleep: hardly

Best moment this week: telling the ladies at work..

Movement: i believe its a baby movement, but its probably gas

Food cravings: GUMMY BEARS

Gender: i think its a girl. We heard the heartbeat and i feel the same way i did with baby #1, so i’m pretty sure

Belly button in or out? I’ll probably be an innie all the way thru.

What I miss: up until new years.. nothing.. now i would kinda like just a sip of beer..

What I am looking forward to: week 12, really showing, gender reveal party!

Weekly Wisdom: Do the things you always did (within reason).. dont sit on your bum the whole time and be an incubator.. your labor will be 2500X harder if you arent active!

Milestones: Possibly finding out gender.

How far along: 13 w 6 d

Total weight gain/loss: gained 2 pounds

Maternity clothes? Not yet.  Luckily.

Movement: Not yet but I can’t wait for that.

Food cravings:  A few…

  • Soup in a bread bowl from Panera.  Preferably broccoli cheddar soup.
  • Pizza
  • Chips and queso
  • Philly cheesesteak sandwich
  • A turkey, bacon, guacamole sandwich (I might try this without the turkey so I can eat it!)
  • And I also really want a sub sandwich.  Only 6 more months…

How are you feeling this week? I am feeling more like myself except for the extreme amount of hip pain I am experiencing at night.  No idea why it is happening.

Milestones:  I will have made it through the first trimester (as of Monday!!!!!) without chewing my husband’s head off.  Well, I did one time but he deserved it so I can’t help that it happened.

Weekly wisdom: Do not read the internet too much and make sure to exercise.

I thought I would add a pregnancy update.  I’ve been a little more active on the boards lately (after my wedding ironically), so I thought it would be fun!

How far along? 9 weeks.  I had my first ultrasound this week and I was so surprised at how clearly I could see everything on the screen!  We saw the heartbeat at 175 beats/min.  Brought a cd of photos home to DH and he was so so excited.  We both feel like it’s much more “real” now.  We might decide to tell our family this week, friends and workplace will wait a little longer.

Total weight gain/loss: Unsure of my prepregnancy weight.  I do know I was steadily gaining weight for the last 6 months leading up to the pregnancy πŸ™ .  Pregnancy was unplanned, and I wish I had made a point of getting at least a little healthier before we conceived.

Maternity clothes? Not yet, but started browsing online, and treated myself to some better fitting and looser fitting clothes with some Christmas gift cards.  Baby bloat is starting to get the best of me.

Movement: Not yet!

Food cravings:  Cottage cheese!

Belly Button in or out? Still in

Milestones: Seeing the heartbeat was a huge milestone for us.  I still remind DH that it’s still really early and there are a lot of things that can go wrong.  He tells me I’m being a “Debbie Downer.” Oh well, that’s just us I guess!

Weekly wisdom: No wisdom yet!  I still feel clueless.  I feel confident that I know what I need to know about nutrition and having a healthy pregnancy, but now I am starting to panic about when the baby actually arrives!

How far along: 25 weeks

Total weight gain/loss: gained 9 lbs

Maternity clothes? I’m now wearing the belly band over some of my jeans and I’m wearing some tops a size up but not maternity (yet)

Movement: yes!!! she’s a kicker!!!

Food cravings: Somewhat but nothing that has been very consistent the whole pregnancy…right now? apple sauce and brownies! πŸ˜›

How are you feeling this week? good! not much nausea/morning sickness now (lots the first trimester), energy is still up but getting tired again, some heartburn, but very very happy/content mood lately! although emotional!

Milestones: We’ve almost made it to the third trimester

Weekly wisdom: Pracitice breathing and talk to your baby…I enjoy talking to her so much πŸ™‚

Finally, I can add myself! I’ve been waiting until my 12 week apt. to make it official.

How far along: 12 w 3 days

Total weight gain/loss: I gained 2 pounds… which was really nice b/c my first pregnancy I gained 30 in 3 months!

Maternity clothes? My mom is taking me shopping on Friday πŸ™‚ I’m just excited for a bra that fits!

Movement: Way too early for that.

Food cravings:  Not too many now. Probably just a peanut butter milk shake… but i’ve been trying not to eat it too much I’m trying not to gain too much.

How are you feeling this week? Pretty good. I get migraines which has been pretty tough, but thanks to some meds they’re livable.

Milestones:  Having a positive 12 week appointment was pretty amazing for us. For our last pregnancy, we went to this apt. thinking that we’d hear a heart beat and learned our baby had passed at 6 weeks. I was soooo nervous this time around, but everything turned out great so far!

Weekly wisdom: Give yourself a break. It’s not easy to grow a baby and have your hormones go crazy!
