@firsttimemom: Thank goodness no!! And it goes away once I’m up and moving around. But in the middle of the night I’ll wake up and the ear on the side I’m sleeping on will be hurting so I have to switch to the other side. Sometimes I have to choose my aches – do I want to sleep on the side that has the sore shoulder or the side with the aching ear! I’ve only started sleeping on my side for about 4 wks, so hopefully my body will adjust soon and it will go away.

How far along: 34 weeks 5 days

Total weight gain/loss: I quit looking a LONG time ago.

Maternity clothes? Yes, all the time.

Movement: Mainly at night and when i am sitting, i think the rest of the time the poor little guy is holding on for dear life. Also, every time the cat lays on my lap he kicks at her purring, hence the cat has ban me from her allowed petting list, (she only likes certain people to pet her).

Food cravings: None really. Lots of water.

How are you feeling this week? Great, except for sore hips and feet.

Milestones:  I can see the light at the end of the tunnel!  I am so ready to see this little guy!

@Tisty1982: Oh, that’s awful! Reminds me of my battles with food! I’m craving x… but if I eat x it will likely put me either:
1)in sugar shock
2) throwing up in the sink (because I can’t make it down to the bathroom floor to throw up in the toilet anymore)
3) with terrible indigestion / heartburn / acid reflux / all three
4) all of the above.

Picking your battles from the list of battles where there’s no possibility you can win…

@Rouquine: Thanks! I know, the great thing about the hive is that there are three (count it, THREE) other memebrs on here that have the exact same due date as me (that I know of, at least). It’s been a great journey having them to turn to and knowing they’re going through the EXACT same thing πŸ™‚ Oh and PS – when you first started posting on the babies boards I’d get SUCH a craving for pumpkin pie because of your avatar, lol.

So excited to post my first update πŸ™‚

How far along: 11 weeks 1 day

Total weight gain/loss:  down 2.5lbs

Maternity clothes? None yet. My clothes fit differently and I bought maternity jeans but I don’t need them yet.

Movement: I can’t feel any, but we had our first U/S last week and s/he waved at me!

Food cravings:  No cravings, lots of aversions though. Specifically texture, which has never been a thing that bothers me, now I’m all about the texture.

How are you feeling this week? Great! We saw a strong heartbeat last week at the u/s and the 1st trimester coma is starting to fade finally!

Milestones: Having the ultrasound and seeing that heartbeat strong and healthy, what a great feeling πŸ™‚

Weekly Wisdom: Am I qualified to dispense wisdom yet? πŸ˜› I guess for me I’d say don’t let the fatigue get you down, just remember there is an end in sight and it’s so worth it.

This is my first update πŸ™‚

How far along:  21 weeks 5 days

Total weight gain/loss:  12lbs πŸ™

Maternity clothes? Just bought my first pair of maternity jeans yesterday. I had been wearing my regular jeans with my BeBand and apparently this little guy feels that I am invading his space when I wear it. He constantly kicks when I sit down or lay down.

Movement: He is a very very active little boy. He usually gets the hiccups at least once or twice a day. I am starting to think he finds humor in punching me in the bladder. He head is literally sitting on my cervix and he has his hands by his head.

Food cravings:  I have given into my craving for pop. I allow myself one a day. I also really want tacos or anything spicy all the time.

How are you feeling this week? Feeling good. Just wish I could sleep at night. From the way he is sitting, I have terrible sciatic pain. Hubs has been awesome at rubbing my back at night.

Milestones: I slept through the night the other night! Yay! First time in a long time.

Weekly Wisdom: I have given up the need to do everything myself around the house. My kids help out a ton, and so does hubby. That would be my wisdom, when help is offered, TAKE IT!!

This is my very first update! πŸ™‚

How far along:  11 weeks

Total weight gain/loss:  No idea, I’ve opted not to know

Maternity clothes? I’ve been procrastinating, but I think I’m going to have to go buy some larger jeans at least. My pants are having trouble closing and I’m getting a very not cute muffin top.

Movement: None yet!

Food cravings: Olives, sweets and cheese. Not together, thank god.

How are you feeling this week? I have this uncontrollable hunger. Literally, I can eat a full dinner and be hungry an hour later. The other night, we went out to dinner and sat a while after and waited on our check and I actually left the restaurant hungry. I don’t know what to do about it. I feel awful all the time, but I don’t want to just eat all the time.

Milestones: None yet, nearing the end of the first trimester though! We already had our first ultrasound and told our families a few weeks ago.

Weekly Wisdom: None really. I don’t really think I’m pregnant enough yet.

@firsttimemom: “Almost Full Term” keeps me hanging in there.  Yes it’s a milestone, trust me πŸ˜‰

I’m updating tomorrow after my weekly check.  I don’t feel any changes so I’m not expecting much.  Although I will be talking about the horrible awful I word he used with me last week.  Seriously DO NOT TELL a pregnant lady who has been dealing with Pre Term Labor and contractions at all hours of the day and night that it would and I quote “Disgusting if we have to induce you”.  I’ll show you disgusting πŸ˜‰

Welcome to all the new mommies!! πŸ™‚

How far along:  26 weeks

Total weight gain/loss:  16lbs

Maternity clothes? All the time now… I didn’t want to buy tops, but I find that I am not one of those ladies who feels comfortable pulling off the tight t-shirt so I’m probably going to buy a few tops

Movement: Very active and also very strong. His kicks often surprise me.

Food cravings:  Fruits and vegetables. Always trying to find ways to squeeze more in!

How are you feeling this week? Good, but I had two episodes of dizzy spells… I will be addressing this with my OBGYN tomorrow… Also, I am becoming a clean/organisation freak. Just woke up one day and was able to implement routines like I have never done before, I’ve never been so efficient in my life, at home or at work!

Milestones: 26 weeks, 6 full months!! Transferring from my family doctor to my OBGYN tomorrow, meeting her for the first time I hope we like her!

Weekly Wisdom: Take time for a romantic weekend; get things done in the week so you can have as much quality couple time while you can! Worth it!

How far along: 35 weeks 5 days

Total weight gain/loss:  20lbs – Yay that stayed the same!  Believe me I never thought I’d see that number on the scale and it scares the bajeezus outta me πŸ˜‰

Maternity clothes? All the time, and they’re getting to be too small..  How does that happen?  What the heck am I gonna do, this belly is getting bigger everyday, lol!

Movement: She’s extremely active and a lot of times it hurts!

Food cravings:  Everything, lol!  Still loving fruit and veggies.  I cave into chocolate at night πŸ™  Then I’m up all night with heartburn and mega contractions.  You’d think I’d learn.

How are you feeling this week? Still Done, I’d love to meet her right now!  I’m trying to coax her with snuggly warm blankies, cozy little socks and outfits, lots of hugs and kisses, and most importantly she’ll be dry πŸ˜‰  It’s not working.  As my appointment showed quite nicely (NOT) I’ve still made no progression, no more effacement (80% was the last number I heard) and still a fingertip dialated.  Can you say disappointment.  I’m happy to have her cook a little longer, but can we do this without the contractions, and sleepless nights?

Milestones: I can safely deliver, not quite full term but baby girl will be healthy and we won’t have worries.  So my Dr. says.

How far along: 35 weeks 5 days

Total weight gain/loss: 46lbs

Maternity clothes? All the time. It’s sad…now I am getting to the point where even my maternity shirts are getting too small over my ever growing belly

Movement: A lot! My belly visably moves. It’s such an odd sight!

Food cravings: Same as always. Just random cravings based on something I hear about or see…and suddenly MUST have

How are you feeling this week?  Starting to get pretty uncomfortable. My pelvis aches and is sore. Heartburn. And it’s getting harder to get up off the couch and out of bed. Basically I am feeling really big and pregnant.

Milestones:  1 month until my due date! Also, I went to the dr. yesterday and the baby is no longer breech. Hurray! πŸ™‚

How far along: 38 weeks, 5 days

Total weight gain/loss: Roughly about 32 pounds…that’s what it was Tuesday, anyways, and if it’s more than that, I don’t want to know.

Maternity clothes? Same as last time. I have three pairs of maternity pants I rotate wearing to work. On top I just wear regular tops that used to be too big for me (supplemented by some larger polos I bought on sale at Old Navy). I am down to one pair of pre-pregnancy jeans (that used to fall off me) but I am very quickly wearing them out. If I’m just hanging out at home I wear tshirts and yoga pants.

Movement: A lot! Sometimes that’s uncomfortable, but always reassuring.

Food cravings: Still fruit, and sugar. And bread. I base where we go to eat on what kind of bread they have (Red Lobster cheddar rolls are my favorite)

How are you feeling this week?  Eh. Not terrible, but have had some shooting pains in my hoo-ha area-not fun! Also, the cramps are worse than ever. No contractions though.

Milestones:  What milestones? As of my last appt, baby has not dropped, cervix is totally closed, still WAY up there, no contractions, etc. It does not appear this baby is going to be coming early. Still, I am excited about a few things. 1 Single digits- 9 days til due date! 2. I finally started packing my hospital bag last night, 3. I gave the majority of maternity clothes back to my SIL! I am still hanging on to the maternity pants for work (hopefully only need to wear another 4 days, we have casual days Fridays), but everything else can go.

Come out baby! Can’t wait to meet you!
