You can wait until you get closer.  I didn’t have my first fitting until April for my June wedding so 2 months is more than enough!

I second missAsB, you can wait.  Congrats on the baby and welcome to the hive!

First, if you don’t have a dress yet I would look into getting a corset back to the dress, as you can go up or down a size or two and still fit into the dress! Definitely a positive. As for alterations, I would leave them until after you have the baby (congratulations by the way!!). Two months ought to be more then enough for a good seamstress to do everything necessary to the dress. Also, if you haven’t gotten the dress yet- explain to the people you buy it from about the pregnancy and wedding time lines. They may have great advice for how to chose which size to pick. Or, alternatively, ask a good seamstress.

Holy moly mama!!  First, congratulations, wow!  That is so exciting and you seem to be handling it so well!  I would be a basket case!

Best idea is to talk to your seamstress and also your doctor to get an idea based on how much weight you have gained so far and what size you are now, what they think your size will end up being at that time,

When in doubt, buy larger.  It is far easier to take in a dress then it is to let it out.

Best of luck to you, your Fiance and your little one on the way!!

I would wait.  I didn’t go in for my alterations until August for my late-September wedding.
