Hi bees! Just wondering if anyone else has had this experience, before I google it to death and then worry about it anyway 🙂
I’m having a pressure-type feeling in my pelvis when I walk… it’s a little painful but not super painful, I can walk fine but I can’t really ignore it either. I noticed it before but it would go away, but today seems like it won’t go anywhere! It’s almost like pressure on my bladder / feels like my uterus might fall out, ha ha. I don’t know how else to explain it! I’ve never heard of it and this is my first pregnancy, so of course I always jump to “uh oh, is something wrong?!” mode. Anyone else have this experience? If so, is there any way to make it stop?

How far along are you?? Ive never been pregnant but it sounds like something that you might want to get checked out..

Oh sorry, I should have said! I’m 28 weeks, and I’ve gained about 12 or 13 lbs so far (haven’t been weighed in almost 2 weeks, so not positive!).

Yup, I’m about 33 weeks now and I started feeling that probably a month or two ago- I don’t have it all the time, but definitely a lot of the time. For me, I think that part of it is the fact that I’m carrying really low, so while I don’t have shortness of breath from baby up in my ribcage, I have constant pressure in my pelvic region (and right on my bladder of course!) If you’re worried about it, give your OB a call, or definitely bring it up at your next appointment- but it sounds pretty normal to me 🙂

If it’s a bit lower, it could be round ligament pain. Try googling that and see if it sounds right? Mine started right around 27ish weeks and sounds a lot like what you’re describing. Just more stuff stretching out!

I have soooo much pressure in my pelvis and it started around 27 weeks. Now I feel like I’m carrying around a sumbarine that is going to drop out at any second. good times.

Like Tiramisu said, could be round ligament pain. That was the worst symptom of my pregnancy. It also bothered me at night when I was trying to switch sides I was sleeping on. I carried pretty high until the last 4 weeks (after baby dropped). I felt more pressure then as well.

I’m 32 weeks and I occasionally feel it when I walk. For the most part, though, nowadays I’ve been walking less because it gets too uncomfortable being on my feet for too long.

Im 20 weeks, and I feel it ocasionally depending on where my little peanut is hanging out in there. If its sitting low or on my bladder, the pressure seems BAD. But then it moves or wiggles away (I will poke at it to make it move) and it goes away

yaaaa…. pretty much lol. This is just one of those lovely side effects….I had sooooo much pressure especially when I got close to 30 weeks it was crazy, you basically feel like the baby could not possibly get any any lower or something is going to fall out + pee yourself or at least feel like you will anytime you walk.
