I just found out I’m 5 weeks pregnant.. So I will be 15 weeks pregnant by the wedding.
My dress is corset back, will that hurt the baby if done up tight?
Can bees please post photos of their 15wk bump? Especially if it’s your first as I’ve heard you dont show as quickly with your first.

You know what I think is funny?. I remember reading a past post of yours about your Future Mother-In-Law, and she said that you better not get pregnant before the wedding. At that point, you were 3 weeks pregnant. Congratulations!!!!!! I am sure he/she was waving hello to grandma!!!
All the very best to you both!!!!

Congrats!!! I just found out I’m pregnant too (I’ll be 5 weeks tomorrow) so I can’t help with the “bump” size/question.
my wedding is in 10 DAYS(holy crap!!!) so I’ll be a pregnant bride too!!!

Hey i think you will be fine! I am 15 weeks, unless people know i am pregnant it just looks like i have put on a couple of lbs in my stomach. Keep in mind everyone is different!! Good luck!!! this was 15 weeks

@MrsMagillToBe: I was 23 weeks pregnant at our wedding. At 15 weeks I didn’t have much of a noticable bump at all (I’m also plus sized, so that will make a difference). But I can say I was bloated and anything tight was super uncomfortable. I don’t think wearing a corset back would hurt the baby (I’d double check with your doctor if you’re concerned, though), but I can say that it might make you uncomfortable.

Everyone shows differently so I think it will just depend. For comparison, here I am at 15 weeks. This top obviously doesn’t hide anything, but I can hide it with looser tops and things. I think a corset would give you enough flexibility either way so you should be fine. Congratulations!

This is what I looked like around 15 weeks. I am 5’2 with a long torso.
I think you’ll be able to fit in your dress, but maybe don’t lace it up overly tight for comfort reasons. I’m sure it won’t harm the baby at that point.

Oh 🙂 And congrats 😀 You must be very excited!

I am 16 weeks along and do not yet have a bump. I personally can FEEL it but no-one can outwardly see it or would be able to tell. Everyone is sooo different! Ask your Dr. about the corset thing so you know, to be sure, what is best. Congrats!!!

Congrats! At 15 weeks I felt like I was showing, but looking back, I definitely wasn’t. I wouldn’t worry too much, esp. bc you have a corseted dress – you have leeway there. FWIW, I wore zip-up dresses in my regular size through 23 weeks.
Edit: At 14 weeks, I had to wear a skirt as part of a uniform for an event, and wore spanx. Baby girl was AOK, but ask your doc if you’re worried.

I’m 14 weeks 3 days and still not really showing yet. I just started having to unbutton my normal pants by the end of the day. The only thing I would warn about is not wanting anything tight around my midsection. A corset back is a great thing for you, it can be loosened as the day goes on (I’m always a bit bigger in the evening than in the morning).

@katepoppy: Haha yeah I know! We actually decided to tell our parents early (I wanted to tell my mum so Fiance thought it was only fair his mum knew too) and she was SO excited.
I was like.. Are you sure you’re not angry? Haha
So many beautiful bumps!
Thank you everyone for your help 🙂
