@cali_cat:  Congrats! I was 3 months at my wedding, and besides my boobs getting bigger, my dress was not a problem! Did you already have your bachelorette party? That led me to have to tell people before. Sticky baby vibes for you and baby and a healthy 9 months!

Congratulations! Perfect timing!! You should hopefully not be getting morning sickness/ridiculously tired when you’re out of your first trimester (:

Congrats!  Here’s to a happy and healthy 9 months for you!  And I wouldn’t worry about showing much at your wedding.  It seems like even for most shorter women, you may be bloated to the point where you would notice a difference, but other people wouldn’t.  And hey, weddings are stressful – some people put on weight without the baby as an excuse (ahem…me). ๐Ÿ™‚

Hooray, congratulations!! I was 10 weeks pregnant at my wedding and I wouldn’t have changed anything. I was way too nervous and excited and overwhelmed to have even wanted to drink if I could, and I luckily felt great. Even if you are showing by then, you can just have your seamstress take that into account with your dress and alterations, in the days leading up to the wedding… One thing I did not think of was, even though I wasn’t showing yet at 10 weeks, I was pretty bloated and (TMI alert) constipated, so I may as well have been! I did not look pregnant but I was bigger, and a bit unpredictably so. I had to have my mother-in-law let out the seams on the sides of my dress at the top, which luckily worked out fine but it was a little touch-and-go in terms of ‘omg is my dress going to fit?!?!’ on the day of… if you haven’t got your dress yet I would suggest looking for something with a lace-up corset back or something like that, so it’s forgiving of any size changes.

Are you going to tell people about the pregnancy before the wedding? For us, it was still a secret, but lots of people suspected. We wrote our own vows and included stuff about being so excited to share in parenthood with each other, I vowed to be a good mom to his children and we exchanged knowing smiles… it was very sweet. Even speeches made by other people who didn’t even know I was pregnant contained little references to a potential future baby. For me, being pregnant at my wedding was just wonderful ๐Ÿ™‚ I hope that you have a similar experience!

@cali_cat:  First of all, CONRATS!! Secondly, don’t stress. I was 17 weeks pregnant on my wedding day and I’m also short/short waisted. I was barely showing but embraced my bump for a few photos as it’s a beautiful thing that your child is a part of such a special day.

Congratulations! What wonderful news! It would be fantastic if you did a group shot with everyone at the wedding and announced it just as the photographer was taking the picture. I imagine there would be some priceless faces.

I was also 17 weeks pregnant at my wedding A few weeks ago. I had a corset dress that still fit, but was a wee right. The pregnancy boobs were in full force though. We announced at 13w and had a gender reveal at our rehearsal dinner. It was fun! Congrats to you!!

I attached pics so you could see. We didn’t tell anyone we were gender revealing at the Rehearsal Dinner because we didn’t want people to feel obligated to bring any type of gift or wonder if it was a baby shower. We wanted to keep the focus on the wedding. Sorry the pics are so big. I’m on mobile.

congrats again!

Yay! I’m so happy to see this “official” post. I saw an episode of 4 weddings where they revealed they were pregnant at the wedding and it was really sweet.
