sherryberry: wow another Nov team green! I’m excited about the nursery too…we have it painted the color we want already, and will just decide on accessories whenever.
newbabybee: that’s really cool! I think its sweet that you already know what works for you guys. That would never work for us…anything that puts DH on the spot makes him nervous. It’s all about knowing your audience and obviously you know yours : ) sidebar- It always blows my mind when people plan things (like a surprise party) when the guest of honor actually hates things like that.

Nickig_4: at least I’m not the only Nov mama finding out : )
gear will all be gender neutral- it’s really just clothes and possible nursery that would be different for us

Monny: We are planning on finding out but not telling anyone else until Little Pea is born (compromise for me and DH). It’s funny how disappointed people are by this! When I told this to my mom she said “you can tell me! I won’t tell anyone, not even your father”. LOL. Others have said that there aren’t a lot of colours or that we will end up with a lot of white clothes (there is turquoise, green, yellow, grey, black, red … so many colours other than pink and blue haha). I’m not sure why it is such a big deal that other people find out beforehand.

Monny: I’m now 17 weeks and we just found out last week! My husband and I could hardly contain our excitement so we decided early on that we wanted to know our baby’s gender. I don’t think I could wait a whole 9 months but props to those who do! We’re having a boy and couldn’t be more thrilled.

Yes we definitely will, that appointment is the one I am counting down to! Have to wait until 21 weeks though… its a good patience exercise. I hate surprises, and we are having too much trouble with names so we’ve decided to resume that task after we (hopefully) find out.

I’m 16 weeks and will find out in 2 days! We are so excited and cannot wait. We’re also doing a gender reveal party with family and close friends. This is our first.

Not pregnant so I’m not sure which way I would go, but my biggest fear (even though I know how good technology is) would be asking, thinking it’s a boy/girl and then giving birth and finding out it’s the opposite!! LOL!
Edit: I have worked in OB as a nurse however and I think I would have a good guess just from heart rate and how the baby is being carried! We shall see!

I didn’t find out and I’m glad. Baby is due very soon…
One thing, all of the clothing I have acquired can be used for a second baby because it’s all gender neutral.

Monny: We wanted to find out, but baby kept it hidden. We’re taking that as a sign, and not paying for an elective US, so now it will be a surprise 🙂

mcp72614: This happened to my friend with her first baby! They told her she was having a girl, she got a ton of girl stuff, and surprise! She gave birth to a baby boy.
<br />She’s pregnant for the second time and found out it’s a boy this time, but doesn’t totally believe it anyways haha
