Hi Fellow Mama Bees!
There always seem to be a lot of “pregnancy sucks because of….” threads (which I 100% understand, because it can be miserable), but I wanted to hear from future Mamas who are feeling great!
The weather has finally started to get nice here, which puts everyone in a good mood, and I’ve just been feeling an extra “spring” to my step these past few weeks. I’m 18 weeks along today.
My bump is starting to look adorable and I love dressing it in cute spring clothes! My hair is shiny and full and my nails look fabulous even without a manicure. I don’t have any major aches to complain about, and even when I feel a pull or stretch, I know it’s for a good cause, so I don’t mind at all.
My Darling Husband has been absolutely amazing this whole pregnancy, but especially lately. He loves my pregnant body and is always telling me how great I look and how excited he is to become a Dad. Everytime he places his hand on my belly, it’s the best feeling in the world! I can’t wait to see him as a father, it’s probably the one thing I am MOST excited about!
Everyone in my life, my family, friends, co-workers, and clients have been incredible since I announced my pregnancy. They’re always making me feel special and sharing their excitement about the baby. I love when they comment on my bump or ask how I’m feeling. Basically anytime someone mentions the pregnancy or the baby, I just light up. It’s really so amazing, and I love getting the chance to share my excitement with the people in my life.
Lastly, I just feel so unbelievably grateful. It’s all I can think about sometimes. I have a healthy little person growing inside of me. I am surrounded by love. I feel great!! Even when I have a moment of feeling like crap (like when I lost my dinner on Sunday night), I still feel so fortunate that it doesn’t seem so bad!
Sorry about the long post, but I just had to get that all down! Does anyone else feel this way?

I’m not currently pregnant, but, my whole pregnancy I felt great! I was pregnant through the whole summer (DD was born in Septemer) and the heat didn’t bother me what so ever! I actually loved being pregnant 🙂

38 weeks 4 days pregnant here. I must say, this is a refreshingly positive post and I’m really thrilled to hear that things are going so well for you. Please come back and let us know if you’re still feeling so fabulous when your baby is full term. 😉
ETA: I did feel great for most of my pregnancy.

I have to say this is an awesome and uplifting post 🙂 I can’t say I haven’t had my share of unpleasant symptoms but for the most part I have really enjoyed being pregnant. I am now 35 and a half weeks along, and the dressing the bump part is actually getting harder 😉 lol However I know it will all be worth it when our little one makes an appearance in a few weeks 🙂

I’m loving your positivity! I am just finishing up my first trimester, so I am still a little behind you, but I understand what you mean. I have been so fortunate to have had a great pregnancy so far. There has been a few moments that I’ve felt less-than-fabulous, but in those moments like you, I know it’s for a good cause so it’s bearable. I’m one of those annoying people who loves being pregnant and feels better than I ever did pre-pregnancy! I just feel so alive & like I have such purpose right now-it’s hard to put into words without sounding cheesy, LOL. The hardest part for me has just been anxiety over feeling so great & hoping everything is OK. Congrats to you mama, and I really hope things continue going well for you!

awesome, it is great that you are feeling so good while pregnant 🙂
I can relate, I’m 33 weeks along and so far have been really lucky, not much in the way of unpleasant symptoms to report. My husband is also being amazing and supportive and loving, he is so psyched that I am pregnant and it really shows. I have lots of awesome maternity clothes that I love wearing (how fun is it to have a whole new wardrobe?!), and I still feel like I look pretty cute despite getting closer to the ‘huge’ stage 🙂 I still have lots of energy and I love feeling the baby move and get bigger.
One of the most adorable things I am realizing lately about pregnancy is that it puts you into this ‘secret club’ of sorts. Everywhere I go, women just *beam* at me, it’s so cute. At first I was all like ‘crap, do I know this person?? and I would have a puzzled look on my face instead of smiling back. But I’m hip to it now. Secret club, gotcha 😉

This is a great post! I am 19 weeks tomorrow and I feel great too! I was lucky that I had a pretty symptom free first trimester. And at almost half way through the pregnancy, I still feel great! I love the spring weather as well and am excited to take off some layers and wear flip flops again! I am so grateful to be pregnant and have enjoyed every minute of it. We found out the gender yesterday (girl) and between that and the movement I am now feeling, this is staring to feel so real.
I love reading all the positivity from you ladies!

I’m resurrecting this thread to update.
I’m now 28w5d and I still feel the exact same as I did 10 weeks ago. I’m still in awe everyday. I feel fantastic, and everyone in my life is still wonderful. I’m now getting the added benefit of smiles and nice comments from strangers, which I just love!
I hope all of my fellow mama bees are having as enjoyable of a pregnancy as I am. And I also hope that it continues for the next 11 weeks!!!

What a fun post! Thank you for sharing, and it’s great to hear that things are going so well.
I’m only 5w2d today (so early, agh!) but feeling good. I’m having some weird pregnancy symptoms, like dry eyes, frequent peeing, and sore boobs. But I’m happy to have them because it means my pregnancy is on track!
Other than that, my workouts lately have felt REALLY good–I’m enjoying the feeling of getting my heart rate up and using my muscles. Probably partly because I’m trapped behind a desk all day, but I also like to think the LO is enjoying the endorphin rush as well! And I feel like I look prettier than usual–not really “glowing” necessarily I don’t know how to explain it!
Thanks for this post–A good reminder to look on the bright side!

I am 33 weeks along, and I feel fantastic! I have swollen feet, but they swell no matter what I do so I just go along with it! I work in downtown Pittsburgh and I still walk about 3 miles per day down here. I visit Point state Park on my lunch break (despite it not being shaded) when it is not raining. FYI, if it isn’t raining in Pittsburgh, it is nasty, hot, and muggy, but it doesn’t bother me one bit! I stay hydrated and keep on keeping on. I feel baby moving and shaking alll day long, and she has hiccups at least once a day.
My skin is better than ever, my hair is holding up on these humid summer days, and my big belly makes the rest of me look as tiny as ever!
I guess it is safe to say I am in the same pregnancy boat as you, feeling and looking great!

@ExcitedScaredBee: I’m 29 weeks and get a lot of compliments on how great I look, even from strangers which is nice 🙂
I was feeling pretty great until I had a crying meltdown in the middle of the night last night aboiut not feeling ready and feeling overwhelmed and sensing the end. I’m so looking forward to our baby but I already feel like I will miss being pregnant.

I will be 16w tomorrow and I feel like a million bucks! The only real symptom I had was exhaustion until about 10 weeks. Other than peeing constantly I pretty much feel like myself. Isn’t it terrible that my mind then goes to– is everything ok???

17 weeks and 3 days feeling GREAT! other then the fact that i turn 21 tomorrow… bahaha. Oh well :] i love this baby boy tooo much. I never really felt that bad at all… certain foods upset my stomach sometimes but i also have liver problems that don’t help with that.
otherwise, no MS … no sore boobs… tho they grew. I feel great:]

I’m 14w2d and I have had an amazing pregnancy so far. No MS, a couple weeks of fatigue but was totally bareable. Other than sore boobs I have no complaints. I just hope it keeps going this well!

So glad to hear all of you mamas are feeling so well! Especially those of you in later pregnancy – it gives me hope! I wanted to comment on this thread when it was first started but I was feeling too superstitious at the time. Now that I’m back from a great 24 week appointment I feel confident enough to say that I’m also feeling amazing. I definitely look round (jealous of those of you who have people telling you how great you look, that’s definitely not me!) but I just feel all around awesome. I am loving having this baby growing inside of me, and never get tired of feeling kicks and punches. I love that my relationship with MY mom has gotten even better – we’ve always been close but it’s like we have this whole new bond now that I’m going to be a mom as well. I love imagining what my LO is going to be like and look like, and I can’t wait to hold him/her in my arms! I’m sleeping better than I have in years, for the most part. I’m still active, exercising 5-6 times a week, and loving that!
Thanks for resurrecting this thread, ExcitedScaredBee, it’s easy to take this all for granted!
