So I used to be a fairly patient person and not let the little things bother me. Well that has all changed! I just took my lunch hour to go pick up a Black digital camera from Best Buy that I ordered for Darling Husband online only to find out when I got back to work and opened the box the gave me Hot Pink!
I know that there are so many problems so much bigger than this but I am so angry I could cry. What is this baby doing to me?! Anyone else losing their mind with pregnancy?

@roxy821: oh bless you…. its the hormones!!! I got angry in the car but when I have PMT im usually like that too so i blame the hormones!!!

I was actually pretty much the same for the most part when I was pregnant, but it’s totally normal to be weepy, impatient, angry, etc.
The joy of hormones!

@roxy821: I have had no patience and have become increasingly irritable, especially in public. I feel like people have become stupider over the past couple of months but I know it’s just my patience wearing thin.

Oh God. I’m a monster. I was way worse in the first trimester and I was pretty much always impatient, pissed, sad, etc. Grocery shoppiing is the worst even now. I want to punch everyone in the face. Walking too slow, almost hitting me, standing right in front of the product I want, talking in the middle of the damn aisle. When I wasn’t pregnant it didn’t bother me too much:)

Haha oh my gosh!! I have had no patience, and things that I could normally let slide before, I hang on to for days! I’ve also been more “gutsy”. I used to take a backseat and even if something bothered me, I’d let it go. Now, I say something. I told Darling Husband just this morning he’s going to have to ride th esubway with me to work from now on because I’m coming “this close” to telling someone off.

@JewishBride: I totally agree with the grocery shopping. It drives me completely up the wall!
@lotam240: I’ve been more gutsy too but not necessarily directly at people. I’ve started to not even try to be quiet when voicing how irritated I am to my husband or whoever I’m with.

@madnb122- Haha! I keep saying I can’t believe how dumb people really are, but I think I just lost my patience with stupidity.
@JewishBride- Darling Husband actually went for me this week because he has noticed I get so angry after I come home from the grocery store. I just want to scream move!
@lotam240- I was always outspoken but in a nicer way. Now I’m with you and about to tell people off.

The thing that seems to tick me off most is grocery shopping, like @JewishBride: . The other big “trigger” is waiting to get food (usually at Subway). Heaven forbid the person in front of me be ordering more than 1 sandwich. You can see the anger in my face, I’m sure. My foot is tapping, I’m sighing and just being a B in general!

I have always gotten cranky when I was hungry;
but now that I am pregnant, I am hungry all the time. So, I am cranky all the time.
I hate the grocery store, but that is nothing new. People that walk too slow, people that block the aisle, and people that stand on me when I am paying the cashier…..argh!!!

Um, yeah. I am pretty much a wreck. I’m 40 weeks 1 day and I thought I was going to scream today in the grocery store. All I wanted was a box of Triscuits and this old lady was just standing there in front of them. I said excuse me, tried to reach around her, she would not budge. I had a very scary urge to ram my cart over her! But I refrained, and I just waited haha. Don’t need to be having a baby in jail!
I also flung a magazine across the living room today because my internet crashed while I was trying to send an email. And I cried. A lot.

yeah, i’m a cranky lady and my husband has been grumpy lately, so that makes me even more cranky! it’s a vicious cycle.

That was one of the first things I noticed….I completely lost my patience at work over trivial things that usually wouldn’t bother me!

Ohhh yeah. Right here, me! I’m like a 2 year old constantly on the verge of a temper tantrum!
For example: Today this woman whipped around and took the parking spot I had been waiting for. I got SO pissed! She had like 4 little kids in the car and usually I would say “oh, she’s got little kids, she should take it and I’ll keep looking” but not now. Pregnant me rolled down my window and thanked her for being so inconsiderate.
I am a nut job right now!
I also find myself thinking that other people are sooooo stupid…but I try to remember it’s just the hormones!
