@jessica.taylor.2012:  I’ve never had a kid and I’m not pregnant, but I think the second one looks the most comfortable. The third would make me nervous because of the low neckline, just because your Bridesmaid or Best Man will probably have larger than prebaby boobs, and will need a dress that easily covers a very supportive bra.

I like them all! How about letting your Bridesmaid or Best Man choose? She might know the best.

I think the second and third one both look very forgiving!

@jessica.taylor.2012:  When I was nursing, strapless was kind of funky to nurse in. Plus, my breast size changed day to day so I would be worried about fit. I really liked things that were forgiving material (looks like these are that kind of stretchy polyester?) that could just be pulled to the side to nurse. That’s just from a BTDT mom, though, everyone’s different!

The second one would best hide a post partum tummy (if she had one) and would minimize bigger (breastfeeding) size breasts!  I’m also a fan of the first one, but not the last one.  It also looks a little too short and it might ride up in the back, especially if she’s a KK body type.

My little sister is my Matron of Honor and she is due ONE WEEK before my wedding. She thinks she’d like a maternity dress that has draping because she doubts she’ll “snap back” that fast. I know your girl will luckily have more time! My sister though said her main consideration will be whether the dress will accomodate a hefty nursing bra. She’s got biggish boobs as it is (and sounds like your Kim K.-esque friend does as well!) and she’s anxious to have something with thick straps that won’t dip low enough to show anything past a hint of cleavage.

I vote Dress #2. It will be most forgiving to any remaining belly bulge, and definitely give the most coverage up top. Dress #1 would not accommodate the right kind of bra, and Dress #3 would not be suitable (in my opinion) for a girl with big boobs – postpartum or otherwise. It’s cute on that not-busty model, but a girl with a rack would be showing a lot of cleavage in that one. It’s not a look many people prefer for a wedding.
