My husband is getting on my nerves because he is trying to eat healthy and he can’t understand why I don’t want salad or vegetables. Of course they don’t appeal to me whatsoever. All I want is carbs like macaroni and cheese, bagels and cream cheese, baked potatoes. Milk is my best friend too. I’ve always been a big milk drinker, but now it’s much more so. Surprisingly, I’m usually a big chocolate/candy person but that’s not appealing to me too much. For sweets I want something like cake or fruit.

Like a few others.. cheesey carbs.. mcdonalds cheeseburgers.. cheese and crackers.. just a hunk of cheese.. and then strawberries. Costco had the best strawberries I’ve ever had in my life the other week. Huge red juicy strawberries. I ate like two cartons in 3 days. Then I discovered very quickly that was a horrid idea as the cramps that came along with that quickly ended that.

Fruit! and more fruit! I live overseas and had horrible aversions to the local cuisine. All I wanted in the first trimester was McDonalds but I tried not to endulge. I still crave familiar, comfort foods.
