I have a Bridesmaid or Best Man who is currently TTC.  She asked me if I would mind if she had a bump at the wedding.  My response was “ah, of course not!”.  Being in my wedding doesn’t mean you have to alter your life plans. 🙂

I think it is totally fine, I would just keep them in the loop. Three of my bridesmaids ended up getting pregnant during our engagement and two of the situations ended up changing our wedding. One bridesmaid can not attend anymore due to travel restrictions (third trimester and half-way across the country.) and the other bridesmaid is due two weeks after the wedding – so we’re praying the baby doesn’t make an early appearance. Both of these pregnancies were completely unplanned, so while I am disappointed that one can’t make it and the other may not be able to make it, life happens. If possible, I would just try to make sure you have a couple of months before your due date and the weddings – but sometimes things work out differently.

My Maid/Matron of Honor will be 6 months pregnant (with twins!) at my wedding – she found out right before the dresses were purchased, so the timing was perfect!

Another bridesmaid is TTC right now, and bought her dress in a style/size that will fit a small bump if necessary – I am hoping to have at least 4 pregnant girls at my bachelorette party! As long as I’m not one of them 😉

I think wedding and baby celebrations just go together!
