I have one bridesmade that could possibly be pregnant at the time of the wedding. I was thinking of going with a dress that comes in maternaty and regular sizes. Any suggestions on the type of dress or certain designers with both types of dresses?

One of my bridesmaids will be pregnant as well, but she will wear the same dress as the other girls because she is already quite petite and the dress has a bit of an empire waist that will still fit her fine…so depending on your style, you may or may not encounter this =)

My SIL just had a baby and she ordered a regular Bridesmaid or Best Man dress, just a few sizes too big so it can be adjusted down depending on her weight.

I’ve got a Bridesmaid or Best Man who will “hopefully” be pregnant at the time of our wedding…but since she’ll only be about two months along, she just ordered her dress in one size larger.
We’re crossing our fingers that it works!

My SIL is trying to get pregnant and says she wants to be about 3 months pregnant by the time of my wedding. She is super skinny to begin with and with her other two pregnancies you couldn’t tell she was even pregnant until the 3rd trimester so we are hoping that is the case with this potential one as well. She is going to get the same dress as the other girls since it has more of an empire waist.

We were in a similar situation, so I choose a bridesmaid line that had the shortest standard delivery time. (At the shop we ordered from, this was Bella Bridesmaid by Venus Bridal.) This enabled my preggers Maid/Matron of Honor to better estimate how big she would be at the time of the wedding. I gave all the girls a fabric type and color, and let them pick their own dress style. This worked well because everyone (especially the preggers MOH) was able to wear something she felt comfortable in.
